This is the most clueless Wawa in Southern NJ. They have a spectacularly and consistently ignored coffee station. I’ve been to other Wawa’s where the regular coffee is out but they have the next one behind, ready to go, quick switch, good to go. Not this Wawa. It’s a unique experience, hang in there, they’ll get the next brew going eventually.

This was my childhood Wawa and used to be a good location, but now I can’t get out of there without feeling like they’re robbing me. You spend a premium for convenience and then get milk which is out of date the next day; or a deli “sandwich” that’s just ingredients thrown into parchment paper that they don’t even close and tape shut; or a still-frozen cheese-filled pretzel from the heat lamp (all three happened in the last week or two). I’ve probably spent like $50 recently on things that I just had to throw out…

Everytime I order a chicken parm sandwich they give me a chicken and cheese with No sauce on it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. ITS ACTUALLY THE THIRD TIME THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO BE EXACT..HOW DOES SOMEONE DO IT THREE TIMES WITHOUT CATCHING ON? This time they added a tomato???? Order number #582

I am 40 years old, getting my weekly supply of my nicotine pouches since I quit smoking and vaping. I was asked to show my ID. Fine, I complied. I pulled out my valid NJ Drivers License with photo ID, birth, etc. like I do at any liquor store. However, the cashier demanded to scan my ID. That is not law so I requested a manager. Every time this happens at any Wawa, the manager looks at my ID and hits a button, plugs in my date of birth, and all is good. For the first time in my life, I was denied service. The Manager stated “It’s a state law”. It is NOT a state law to scan ID, its not the law to show ID over 30 years old, but I complied to showing ID, not to scan it. Manager refused service and I left. If Wawa’s policy stated that they MUST SCAN ID, than I would understand. This manager was upset that I called for her, and she made up a fake law to get me to comply. I came back after my work shift 8 hours later and a new manager was there and she was awesome. She said it use to be a policy, but they removed it. Now I got conflicting policy/law/confused managers. I won’t name either manager but I sent a complaint to cooperate. I ended up going to a competing business and got my supply without showing my ID. I Won’t be going back to that Wawa when there are 3 within a mile of this one. The 8:00AM manager on 3/14/2024 should learn the law/policy and not make up lies because she is called out of her duties to deal with a customer. This should not have happened to a 40 year old who showed their valid NJ drivers license for a purchase.

I have never personally had issues with the deli at this location. Ordered a burrito bowl with chicken steak added and they forgot to include it with burrito bowl. Portion also seemed kind of small. Sometimes staff members don’t want to bother customers when they realize they are low/out of a certain ingredient or product, but this is why it’s crucial. Food tasted good as always justbummed out about the no chicken lol.

Could use better management/active onsite. Temporary chaotic atmosphere there today around 12:55 pm per electronic payment system and MaC machines not working. Cash only accepted. After giving advice to put sign on door and make a plan,after I found and I formed manager she tried to reset the registers.they had no direction how to handle beyond asking customers for cash. I put all items back had planned to purchase beyond a frozen drink my cash on hand could support. I suggested free coffee for everyone’s inconvenience once but they did nothing to alleviate customer inconvenience.

I’m selective about reviews but this WAWA had an amazing staff this morning. An entire mood changer. They not only made me 26 amazing sandwiches but they did it with a smile. They were all so kind, even in the middle of lunch time. Thank you Rachel, Jacob, Anna, Miy, Julian & Brett for helping me with such a large order and most of all for your kindness. Today I placed an order in advanced so my husband can pick it up before work. When he showed up to the store nothing was ready, and stuff told him there is no order in the system
. Manager denied to serve an order even despite showing him a prove of payment of 26$ from credit card, wawa app and actual order number.
No future orders or any other kind of business with this store.
