I moved to New Jersey about a year ago, and I go out of my way to get gas at this Wawa on Marlton Pike, and it’s entirely because of the people who work at this specific gas station.
The guys who pump the gas are some of the kindest, hardest-working people I’ve met. I only know two names, Michael and Andrew, but every single person I’ve encountered has been wonderful. They greet everyone like a familiar friend, and in a place as busy as Cherry Hill, they somehow make it feel like a small town where people genuinely look out for each other.
This morning really showed me why this place is special. After Andrew pumped my gas, my car wouldn’t start (second time this month at the same pump, no worries, got a new battery now!). It was freezing (18 degrees) and while he couldn’t physically help due to policy, he went out of his way to make sure I was okay. He put a cone behind my car so no one would rush me and even suggested I go inside to warm up with a coffee while he kept an eye on my car, all while still helping other customers during a super busy morning rush.
As a woman, especially a woman of color, I’m often cautious in public spaces. But at this Wawa gas station, I always feel safe, welcome, and respected. They’re friendly, efficient, supportive, and clearly work as a team during very busy mornings.
I should have written this review a long time ago because I feel this way every time I come here. Today just made it impossible not to say something.

Good evening Google Family. I decided to stop here before I headed for home. I bought a iced coffee with caramel, 16 oz. It tasted like it had milk in it, but I didn’t ask for it on the ordering monitor. Alas, I drank it. It was good, next time I will just get a smoothie or something else like a lemonade. I also ordered roasted chicken strips. They were good too, I utilized the rest rooms and they were clean. Good night Google Family, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!!

I usually never leave a review. However, the gas station attendant i had last night was more focused on clocking out to where he forgot to close my gas cap completely. My check engine light is currently on and i was an hour away from home. I checked my gas cap and it was basically falling out. Thanks for the added stress. Never coming back to fill my gas here again.

I was really disappointed with my experience today. The cashier was unnecessarily rude and dismissive to a young lady. She was trying to fix her phone so payment would go through and the cashier was impatient. After she stepped out of line he thought it was funny….. Im not sure what the cashiers name was but this happened around 1pm.

I used the app to make an order for pick up. When I got there, the order wasn’t ready yet which im used to for this location. About 10 minutes later I see them finally starting to pack my order, and then the the guy disappears for 15 minutes and then comes back to finally finish the order which then im told by the manager that the breakfast burrito will be finished in 5 more minutes when I’ve already been waiting for nearly 40 minutes at that point. Finally about 10 minutes later, the burrito is finished, and then the lady who had to finish the other guys job comes to pack the order, and then drops my food onto the floor infront of me. This experience was so crazy that I honestly thought that I must’ve been in a nightmare. The only time ive had a good experience here was when I was just coming to get gas, when I make orders, its either the wrong food, or atleast 10 minutes late.

I asked for a bag so I can put everything in, but the older lady who made my snackwraps said they aren’t allowed to use bags anymore.. I got my order in a bag yesterday so I don’t know what changed between yesterday and today but I ended up spilling coffee and had grease from paper slips all over my hand and in car. I will never return to this location.
