Such a cute place with excellent and friendly service. Very homey ambience and comfortable seating.
We got 2 orders of the OG, one with chili and one without and both were superior! The chili added a little punch and excitement to the already tasty burger. The Philly cheese steak was full of meat and flavor with the perfect amount of cheese melting all around. The tater tots were well seasoned and the crunch was perfect.
We all ordered different drinks so we can all try it and al were exceptional. Not too sweet, and very unique flavors.
Don’t know about parking because it was only a 6-minute walk from our hotel.
The guy at the counter was super nice and knowledgeable with the menu – we felt bad because it was the 4th of July and they were closing at noon but the guy assured us it was ok and to not rush eating.
Will definitely go back and try the breakfast menu. They had interesting items on there too.

Wanted to explorer a new area for food. This place is in national city and only street parking so it may be a task to get parking if it’s busy. Wavvy burger and friends of friends is connected I’m not sure if it’s ran by one person for both the businesses. The restaurant gives me like a coffee hang out spot. There were people just chilling around on their computers. The music was good not very loud just good vibes. The line wasn’t very long when I arrived I ordered the OG burger, lumpia and cheesesteak with tater tots and a latte *I’m not sure what kind I’m not a coffee drinker I just wanted to be spontaneous today :)) *
Everything was made very well, the only thing I noticed that all the food was really salty. But I’d rather salty than no flavor.
I definitely would visit this place again. But maybe not for a burger. The pastries looked delicious. That’ll be my next choice!

Been to all the spot that offer smash burgers from downtown south San Diego, so far this gets the top spot for me. Crispy on the end and tasty meat patty. Bread is soft and stays together. Complete vibe here. Music roasted coffee and a DJ section. Coming back for one of the evenings. Oh and the taters are crispy also mmmm good

Come check out Wavy Burgers! They have a little something for everyone-
from homemade pastries, to breakfast sandwiches, burgers, lumpia, espresso drinks, wine, and beer. I think it’s really important as a community to start supporting more small and local businesses and deviate away from these large corporations. Inflation is burning a hole in everyone’s pocket, but businesses are taking a beating as well. They deserve our support. I had an incredible brown sugar palo santo latte made with love! Next time skip Starbucks and treat yourself to a hand-crafted espresso drink at Wavy. Skip fast food chains and enjoy a delicious smash burger at Wavy. Their prices are reasonable and to top it off, the staff is amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my new favorite spots in San Diego!! Amazing food, drinks, coffee, pastries, and vibes! The owner was so attentative and full of passion for the neighborhood and restaurant. A lot of the food and drinks have flavors inspired by the community (Philippian, Hispanic).

Barebones excellent smash burgers. Its a newer joint so bear with the limited menu options. The seating is limited though as the restaurant shares its space with a coffee shop where people may be there for hours. Limited drink choices but the breakfast and dessert choices look amazing. Would like there to be a spicier burger option as the flavors and cheese all kind of combine and it gets less exciting as you eat it. However the quality was very high and ingredients were fresh so I highly recommend trying it!

Cool location, there’s room for improvement on the smash burger. It would be great if the patty was thinner allowing the corners to be crisper, also the patty lacks flavor. Overall not bad, not exceptional to go your way out for. Loved the location super hip and service was prompt and efficient. Tater tots are yum!

Meaty double patty smash style burger. Size of patty is generous and seasoned well. Chipotle oil is delicious but not overpowering. Balances the patty and bun. Onions are sliced and grilled. Will have to try garlic crisp next time. Worth a try

Burgers were ok. Tots were horrible think they were cooked in old oil had a weird taste to them left a horrible after taste. Ranch was ok small for $1. A little over priced for ok food. Maybe their drinks are better didn’t try them..
