Wave Hill Breads – Visit Norwalk

We bake delicious artisan breads with high-quality ingredients our grandmothers would recognize. We source our grains locally and we mill them ourselves.

Our company needed a cake for the 100th birthday of our founder. For someone’s 100th birthday you need a SPECIAL cake. Wave Hills came through! The cake looked great and tasted even better. Thank you for making the day extra special!

Stopped by Wave Hill Breads yesterday and picked up some of their Italian pastries – absolutely fantastic. They had a nice selection of fresh-baked options, and you can tell the care that goes into each one. The pastries were flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s clear Tim Topi and his team take their craft seriously. Will definitely be back.

Delicious artisanal bread and sandwiches (I favor the Il Vesuvio sandwich). I haven’t even tried the desserts yet …. They look amazing. The people behind the counter at Wave Hill arepleasant and helpful. A nice place to meet (not a lot of parking or tables) a friend or two. They serve tea and coffees in real teapots and cups.

We had such a wonderful experience at Wave Hill Breads Bakery! We had pistachio croissant and a pizza and everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. What really made our visit extra special was the lovely Angela, who took such great care of us. She was welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. Between the incredible baked goods and the warm service, this bakery is truly a gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Do you want me to make it sound more short and casual for Google/Maps style, or a bit more romantic/poetic for something like Yelp or social media?

Wave Hill Breads is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates high-quality, artisanal baked goods. Their bread alone is worth the visit—especially the focaccia and sourdough, which are both outstanding in flavor and texture. The sourdough has the perfect balance of tang and chew, while the focaccia is beautifully soft with a crisp, golden crust.

Their sandwiches are fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and made with the kind of bread that takes things to the next level. If you’re a fan of Roman-style pizza, you’re in for a treat. It’s light, airy, and always incredibly fresh, making it hard not to go back for more.

Don’t skip the pastry case either. Their cannolis are crisp and filled to order, and the macaroons are absolutely delightful—chewy, rich, and perfectly sweet.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or picking up goodies for home, Wave Hill Breads delivers every time. Highly recommend!

I recently moved nearby and came in today for my 3rd or 4th visit primarily for their wonderful sandwiches & bakery items, but the icing on the cake is their fabulous staff. On my very first visit months ago I have a lovely conversation with a staff member working behind the counter, and not only did she remember my face but she asked me how the new neighborhood was treating me. I ate the Vesuvio which is perfect every time. It tastes like something you might get in a little cafe on a side street in Italy. Fantastic. I also got their salted caramel macaroon and after our lovely chat and checking that I don’t have any allergies, the server gave me one of their new macaroon flavors to try! The Apple Butter Macaroon was delicious. Real jam on the inside, and a sweet creamy filling. So come for the food but take the opportunity to dine in when you can. It’s worth it.

Exceptional bread! They have a roasted garlic sourdough that is just as special as it sounds. You can literally pull roasted cloves out to spread like butter on it Their sandwiches are also really good. If you can’t make it to their store, the good news is they are at a lot of local farmers markets in CT as well as Westchester and Queens. Check them out, its worth it!

I just tried their “Growing Boy” sandwich, and it was delicious, huge, and full of flavor, just the freshness of the bread makes it for me. Their lavender lemonade is perfect for hot days since it is not too sweet or overwhelming. The pastries look delicious and fresh as well. I hope they fix the wifi soon so I can come and do some work while treating myself yo some goodies.

Small seating area and even smaller parking lot. The pastries and breads are top notch. The filled croissants are spectacular.
