This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered the breadsticks and a pepperoni pizza. The bread sticks were good although more like small pieces of fried dough. The marinara sauce for dipping was decent. I chose the Brooklyn style crust and it was nice and thin. A little bit floppy, a little bit crispy, a little bit chewy. Nice sauce and lots of cheese. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this a solid 6.8.

UPDATE: Years ago we tried Waurwgan and I was very disappointed. My son assured me that he and his friends have been getting great food from there so we decided to try it again. Bravo. We once again ordered a party pizza and we were very pleased. Will order again for sure! Look at that perfect pizza!!

Edit. I’m very disappointed with wauregan pizza . $5 for a 2 liter is asinine and upon asking the 2 bottle be removed. They denied the partial refund and burned 2 out of 3 pizzas deliberately. I’ve never received a black pizza from wauregan pizza. Ive spoken so highly of this place but now it’s right next to Romano’s!

I placed an order on slice for delivery via the shop’s website. I called the shop when the order was 30 minutes past the delivery time estimated. The worker stated that it went out for delivery 5-10 minutes ago. I said okay. I understand it’s a Friday night and the shop may be busy. I waited an additional 30 minutes before a Doordash driver texted me and stated the pizza shop told them that my order had been picked up already. I called them again, and they said they needed to speak to the manager. I was hung up on. Called back again, the worker said I’m gonna put you on hold. Hung up. I drove to the shop. They stated someone else picked it up and refused to refund. The younger man asked if he could make the food again. I said, if that is my only option I would except. The older man then started getting upset and speaking to the younger (not in English so I couldn’t understand what was being said) and the younger turned to me and stated I would need to talk to Slice for a refund. So refund and food was off the table. I couldn’t be more disappointed. So now they have lost the food, the money that will be refunded to me through Slice, and a customer for years to come. Unfortunate all around.
