My husband and I met Rose in 2006 while working in the parish after hurricane Katrina. At the time. She was cooking her great foods in a shed along the road. Sweetest person ever. She always made sure my husband and I had a nice lunch. She saved us a plate. Her red beans and rice were so good. There’s the sweetest lady there please go visit her. She is the kindest person I ever met and she needs more people to visit the place. A true meaning of respect and kindness. So on this hot day I would usually stop at Alex’s to rewet my towel coming from work on my bike but something told me to go next door and when I tell you this lady came me the most best feelings I ever had so she wet my towel for me and had conversation and she is just the sweetest.
