LOVELY MEAL
We had a great meal here this evening.
We ordered filo pastry prawns, tom yum and mussels to start and for mains we had massaman curry, prawn curry, pad Thai and a tamarind Duck dish. All were beautiful and tasty with plenty left for us to take home for tomorrows lunch.
We shared a coconut pancake roll for pudding.
Our autistic son had broken his foot and was in a wheel chair, the staff were very accommodating of us and found us a table that was easy to get to.
Having read the reviews before coming I half wanted it to be a terrible meal so I could post a bad review, all the 1 star reviews had a really funny come back reply from the restaurant that made me laugh so much… However I can’t fault the place. We will definitely return.

Great Thai food, lovely service and lovely setting – the marina is a great spot for a walk before/after a nice meal. The restaurant itself feels very authentic, with the beautiful fountain and Buddha statue. The staff are always welcoming. During the week, there are great lunchtime deals for more affordable dining.

A fantastic experience at Waterside Thai! We enjoyed the lunch menu: we had the chicken satays and chicken goujons to start and then the massaman curry and the chef special fried rice with green curry paste and vegetables. All were presented amazingly and most importantly, tasted amazing! The massaman curry was the best thai curry i’ve had, super flavourful. The restaurant itself was decorated beautifully and the staff were friendly and had quick service! Thankyou so much i’d definitely recommend!

This was our first visit after 10+ years of visiting Barton Marina.
Wonderful food, quick and attentive staff and lovely ambience.
Visited at 6pm on a Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet but we had booked a table just in case.
Food is truly excellent.
We had the Thai Marina Favourite Basket starter followed by Gaeng Massaman (chicken), Chu Chee Gung Yai (jumbo prawn), sticky Thai rice and noodles.

Food was delicious. Fresh. Very authentic looking place from the decor right down to the bamboo themed cutlery. They were very good at accommodating my wife’s gluten allergy. I had the chicken curry which was delicious. Service was very quick, probably because we went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet. Would certainly recommend if you like this food.

It’s got great atmosphere and good portion sizes. It seems that a lot of Thai places outside of London have a focus on their traditional decor and this place delivers it in spades. It’s like the rainforest cafe with Buddha. I like it. The food was tasty but not spicy and more on sweet, fresh side. It’s not a bad thing but I I looked and ordered the fish(fried sea bass) with the most chillies next to it and it was not hot at all,but maybe this is better for business here. I also said I wanted something spicy. The rice was good but I wouldn’t say great, just very slightly Al dente. Tom Ka soup though was phenomenal and makes it a 4/5 I would eat here again but would have a different main dish.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime and decided to have the 2 course fixed price menu. There were a lot of dishes to choose from.
The food was amazing. It was served hot, it was beautifully presented and it was delicious.
The staff were very attentive and polite, too, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning here.

We have dined at the Thai Marina a few times and it has always been a pleasure. The atmosphere, service and food has always been outstanding.
A great selection of mouth watering dishes that are wonderfully served to choose from and the staff are always happy to help with any recommendations.
The menu prices are above average but definitely worth it. Like anything else, you get what you pay for.
Highly recommend.
