The food is super great. I used to get a margarita pizza with tomatoes added
on it and if you like pizza, I recommend getting that but now my order is penne pasta with vodka sauce and it’s super amazing. It comes with a free side of garlic bread and it’s so savory and perfect. I love it! For an appetizer, we usually just get a little shared plate of french fries they are what you would expect pretty good! and the dessert we get the beignets with fruit sauce on the side. It’s super amazing. I love that dessert so much! definitely recommend! The surface is super nice. Everyone is extreme polite and welcoming in the atmosphere. Definitely fits the vibe. Nice and warm lighting is just super nice with the decoration altogether.

Ordered a cheese pizza for takeout and was disappointed with the quality. The crust was extremely thin and lacked any real rise, making it dry and tough. The top had uneven browning with some burnt spots, and the underside was heavily charred, which gave a bitter taste. For the price, I expected better consistency and flavor. Overall, not worth it—there are better and cheaper options in town.

Great place for views and great food, even on a cloudy day. The meatball appetizer was full of flavor, and did not have that “banquet” style taste. Really homemade taste. Served on an iron skillet that could have been hotter, but they tasted so good I didn’t mind. Good side Caesar, and a wood fired pizza that was fantastic! Paired with a Montipulchiano….fantastic.
We popped up airs to check the view. Small area with couch for sitting, great viewing place (Dragon on the lake prime location,!)
The addition of the roof over the patio will make for enjoyable, comfortable dining on sunny days. Staff was very attentive, and doing everything they could to make us feel welcome.

Fun and fabulous waterside food dining option in Orion Michigan! This was the first time trying this establishment and it did not disappoint! The food was cooked perfectly and there were gluten free options which I loved. We ate outside and the view of the lake was fantastic from any seat outdoors. Our server, Angelina, was so attentive and really made our experience special. We appreciated the fact that we could make a reservation for our group – that was a bonus for us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place! Gorgeous dining room and spacious patio. The food was absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong with the house made pasta. Can’t wait to go back to try other things on the menu (the pizza caught my eye). Waiting for warmer weather to enjoy a cocktail on the patio!

First time visiting under new ownership. They have a lot of bugs to work out… usually most new restaurants do. We had a reservation but we heard and saw them turning away people when there were a few empty tables around us almost the entire time we were there which was 8:30-11:00. We ordered drinks and cocktails right out of the gate. The first cocktails were delish but when we ordered a second the Jonesin For a Good Time tasted nothing like the first. I hate inconsistency with drinks… and they took an eternity to get made! We ordered meatballs and the bread and the bread was piping hot but the meatballs were COLD. Our server Julie was a seasoned pro and made sure we were taken care of. The service was outstanding while the food and drinks were just ok. If we wouldn’t have had outstanding service we probably wouldn’t return. Being on the water is great and it has a great ambiance. They need more servers during their busy times which seems to be always (friends have also been). We had friendly and fun couples seated on both sides of us which made the evening fun. Hoping they work out the kinks because they have a good thing going. Oh yeah… SUPER noisy in there. Heard several other diners make comments about it. We did enjoy the rooftop patio. It wasn’t cleared and there were dirty dishes everywhere… but great view!! Overall the restaurant is trying to serve too many people at one time. They need to make it roomier and cozier so that the staff can accommodate people in a timely manner and the kitchen and bar can keep up. i have been here twice. first time late afternoon and had a great meal, best chicken marsala i have ever ate. Came again for dinner. The steak bites were ok, ordered them rare the server didnt even know what i was talking about. I was told they are precut. hmmm. he may need some more training. He was very polite and nice and very accomodating though. fish tacos were ok, wish it wasnt perch. perch dinner was mediocre. the menu seemed smaller the second time. there were specials on the board when we walked in but nothing more said about them until i asked. disappojnting second visit, but will definetly try again in summer with the lakeside seating.

Our server, Autumn, was wonderful and attentive. Service was so quick too! We ordered drinks and apps, and everything came out within about 10 minutes (and there wasn’t an empty seat in the place). The Philly cheesesteak and pizza egg rolls were delicious and hot when we got them. The menu has many great sounding options and at a very reasonable price point.
The building is still incredibly loud, so we would highly recommend some kind of sound dampening inside. Outside had seating, but nobody was out there tonight. Looks like a bar in’s going in out there.
Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Shout out Jeremy and TJ and others for creating my meal; the infamous chorizo bowl (add avocado). It’s on the waterfront so you can watch people struggle with their boats and falling into the water. Occasional search and rescue. Dinner and a show if you will. And I’ll show you something, my empty plate because i was so hungry and so excited that I gobbled it all up before taking a picture. Sorry.

If you’re ever in Lake Orion, Waterside Social is an absolute must, especially because of one man: Palmer (yes, like the drink)
We came in the day after the 4th of July, not realizing the previous night had been a ticketed fireworks event at $150 per person. They’re the only restaurant with lakeside views of the fireworks, and we were just there to support my cousin who was playing in a band. We didn’t know it was a special event.
Most places would have turned us away or made it uncomfortable. But Palmer handled it like a true professional. He listened to our situation, understood the mix-up, got us seated without hesitation, made us feel completely welcome, and even offered us a complimentary drink.
That kind of hospitality is rare.
And the drinks were incredible. The pineapple piña colada was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Every cocktail was crafted to perfection. The service was excellent. The vibe was on point. And the staff was friendly from start to finish.
Waterside Social truly knows how to take care of their guests. I’ll absolutely be back anytime I’m in town. Major respect to Palmer and the entire team.
