A great place to meet up with friends to have a few drinks and watch sports events. Several different eateries to suit anybody’s pallet and several bars to have you choosing from. They also offer several sit down restaurants.
It can be rather loud so be prepared for that.

What a great place to hang out at. The perfect spot for sporting events. Plenty of TVs, different food spots. We had the Mexican food. It was really good and a perfect snack. Outside they had a street fair. Lots of vendors. They also had a corn hole tournament. So, that was fun to watch.

Overall: Waterside District is best enjoyed for its vibe, views, and social energy rather than gourmet dining. A solid stop for waterfront fun, events, and a lively night out in Norfolk.

I wish I had more time to explore this place. Inside feels like a huge food court, Waterside district has many restaurants that serve a variety of food, including BBQ, seafood, and other cuisines. It can get very loud inside but it’s definitely a vibe. My barmaid was attentive, kind & friendly and she made an excellent margarita. If you want to order food at one of the spots you have to place your order and they’ll notify you when it’s ready. You can take your food back to wherever you’re seated. It can get very busy, it’s a trendy spot. They also have a beautiful patio to sit outside by the water & boats. They have events and concerts on the sage outside. I highly recommend checking this place out. The fried calamari and fried shrimp were OK, I’ve had way better. I would rate it a 6/10.

I miss the old “mall”. Glad to see that the ferry is still 2 bucks. If you are looking for excitement, come on any day other than Sunday. Everything closes. It’s peaceful. If that’s whatcha want, do come on Sundays
