Walked in here with no expectations and was completely blown away. The food was incredible and freshly prepared, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating for our group. It has a single large table and a wall bar for seating, but if you have to stand, it’s completely worth it. A true local and mom and pop shop that deserves every bit of praise. 5/5 stars, would 100% recommend to anyone.

Waterside Deli is seriously one of the best sandwich spots in Stamford! Everything tastes super fresh, the sandwiches are loaded, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. I ordered a number 27 off the menu and added basil ..John took care of me.. he made my sandwich fast. He is extremely nice and knows his stuff. I was also able to have a sample of their steak with onions it was amazing very flavorful from their hot Buffet station.
The deli is clean , even the restroom is immaculate. They have a large variety from a salad bar to sandwich station , hot food buffet and many additional food options on their menu.
Best kept secret in Stamford you must try. Parking lot is also a plus.

Ramon and John are the best! There is a difference when a deli is run by workers and when the owner’s work there. You know what I mean. Look at the single-family homes and how they are maintained vs multifamily properties.
Definitely worth the reasonable prices.
If you need a quick caffeine fix they have what you need. Next door a startup called Rise Brewing Co. supplies them with Nitro Cold brew. Plus they have fresh coffee.
