Ambiance was definitely the best part of this place. Cute location. Lots of little shops. Indoor and outdoor seating.
The food was good but it is one of those places where if you have a slightly picky eater or maybe allergies you may need to modify your dish. My sister and I don’t think we’re very picky at all but we did take a minute or 2 to decide if we were actually going to order a meal or just an app.
The service was mediocre at best. I genuinely want to always give everyone the benefit of the doubt but I would honestly not go out of my way to return. The hostess seemed clueless or didn’t care. Maybe she’s family or a friend and doesn’t care about how she presents herself to customers. Saw our waiter once. Had to flag him down to just give him our cards so we could pay and leave. Didn’t even bother asking for the check. Again maybe this was an off day but after reading the Yelp reviews it seems like many others had similar experiences which is a shame.

The burger, pizza and ribs were spot on! I personally ordered the 3-piece ribs and I think the flavors in it worked so well The servers were very approachable and helpful in recommending dishes.
If I could recomment anything or come back to SF I would definitely remember this place! So glad that I tried this place out with my partner and friends!

We had a really nice lunch here. The vegetable platter was delicious and the grilled veggies were done to perfection. We also had french fries with dipping sauce, which were pretty good. And the broccoli with lemon was also quite delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and accommodated our special drink requests. She had really good energy and we felt was the perfect amount of engaged yet giving us space. Overall, a pretty good experience.

We went once and I got a burger – it was quite good, and good quality meat, although it came with chips, which I think is a cheap replacement for fries. My GF got squid in some sauce, she liked her meal as well.
We tried going back twice but they were always too busy, not their fault, but that’s what you get with a small place like this – they have very limited indoor seating.
We went back again, and this time I tried the pizza, since I see lots of other people ordering it. It was really not impressive. Not impressive dough, or toppings, or preparation (quite burned). My gf got the same squid she got before, but this time the squid was barely cooked and the sauce was much much spicier. This lack of consistency makes us not want to go back. It’s worth going to this place to try it, and then you can judge for yourself if it’s worth going back.

Great atmosphere in beautifully rehabbed lumberyard with plenty of outside seating w heaters. Food decent and staff excellent and friendly. We arrived after kitchen had just closed, yet Hostess Iris graciously retrieved some tasty appetizers to tide us over.

Definitely feels like a neighborhood go-to inside the buzzing Lumber Yard complex. Quaint indoor outdoor spot for lunch or a later afternoon cocktail. Seasonal specials like a yummy strawberry margarita. Loved the trout fish dip appetizer, but didn’t try any of the other dishes. They’re associated with the wine shop next door, where you can purchase bottles for consumption at the restaurant. Would be a fun place to host an event!

We were on our way to Muir Woods National Monument and stopped here for lunch. We got right at the opening so there were plenty of seats available. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My group ordered different entrees and everyone was very happy with their meals. I had the salad with steak which was very tasty. The ribs were also amazing and were “fall of the bone” tender. Try to come here early or make reservations because this place gets busy during the weekend.

This place is pretty popular with the locals and you may feel like you’re intruding on a private gathering, but the food is amazing and the service was great! My wife had the only burger on the menu and said it was the best she had ever had. I had one of the pizzas and it was amazing, it had these little mushrooms I’ve never seen on a pizza and they were delicious. We were sitting in the sun, and they don’t cool the place, so it was a little warm, but we really enjoyed the experience overall. Oh, our server was awesome!
