We got takeout here and waited over 45 minutes to get the food. The club sandwich was really big and good, but the rest was just average. I definitely would not recommend the rice bowl which was $25 for a small portion and below average food.

Had breakfast and dinner here during my recent stay. The staff was excellent!! Very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and cooked as requested. They offered lots of options for dietary restrictions. Crab cake appetizer and shrimp Louie are highly suggested, along with the cream of crab soup and crab dip! Sadly, they didn’t have a crab cake dinner – only an appetizer. If I were to make any suggestion, it would be to add this to the menu.

We recently dined at Waters Edge Grill, nestled within the Hyatt Regency, and was captivated by the elegant atmosphere and stunning scenery.
The ambiance sets the stage for a sophisticated dining experience, making it an ideal spot for special occasions and lovely pictures.
The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of artistry, each plate crafted with precision. However, I must admit that while the visuals promised a culinary adventure, the taste fell short of expectations, scoring a 3/10 for minimal flavor. It’s disappointing when the visual feast doesn’t translate into a flavor explosion on the palate.
On a brighter note, the drink selection deserves commendation. The variety of mixed drinks offered is extensive, and the quality of the beverages is consistently high. This certainly adds a delightful touch to the overall dining experience.
The restaurant’s location inside the Hyatt Regency was exceptionally convenient, but it’s worth noting that the venue is somewhat secluded. If you’re seeking a quiet escape to be in nice scenery and have drinks, this could be a plus; however, those looking for a more full dining experience it may not be the spot.

Have had breakfast here on a few occasions while staying at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. The breakfast buffet is solid but not particularly memorable. The dining room is neat, though, and the service has always been good.

Water’s Edge Grill is part of the Hyatt Golf Resort. We had the buffet for breakfast and dinner. We ordered breakfast from the menu as well. No complaints everything was great! I am not a big buffet person because I can’t eat as much as I want…big eyes small belly. The photos are from the menu. I really enjoyed my order from the breakfast menu and was more fitting to my appetite. Service was great! You will be amazed at the service. They ask you about your stay, how was the food…very welcoming and is sure to take care of you. The restaurant is like an upscale restaurant with a choice of buffet. The setting was really nice with booths and setting with big high windows to make you feel like you were outside. Very nice setting. I highly recommend this restaurant during your stay.

This place is a joke. Waited 45 minutes for a salad and main course. The food was way below average for this price point. The chef is obviously inexperienced. The food served did not match the menu description. Last time I ever eat or stay at a Hyatt.

I ordered the chipotle pork tenderloin and wow ! I didn’t leave anything on the plate, so delicious. The service was a little slow but I think that’s because it was close to closing. My mom also ordered the crab cakes and said it was the best she’s ever had! Wonderful dinner experience. The buffet is also good and filled with staples. I wish there were less flies around but after that it’s wonderful.

Food is awful. Consistently awful. Go off site. Mac and cheese over cooked, dry, broken sauce. Crab was so overcooked it was like big chunk of rubber.

Beautiful location. Nice selection of dishes but a bit on the pricey side. Friendly and attentive staff. I tried their hummingbird tomato soup and their roasted chicken with purée potatoes. I enjoyed the experience.

Food is ok. Breakfast buffet advertises that it includes coffee, but they charge you extra for espresso without warning (and it’s fake espresso)
