Fabulous restaurant! They have so many varieties of different food. I especially enjoyed my chicken fried Asian rice. It was the best I have ever tasted. Their salads are huge and all of the food is glorious. Even their lemonade was outstanding. Jenny was our server and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about all of the food and was very attentive to all of our dining needs. She was fun to talk to and she was so very kind and pleasant. I will go back here often because to me this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my entire life. Absolutely amazing. Valet parking is available at all times and plenty of handicapped spaces are also available.

Update: Today, I had the chicken low mein and it’s great; their chocolate pie is excellent. Their drinks are terrific; however they did not have enough servers today so I had to eat at the bar with my friends, once again. You can’t make reservations so it’s first come, first served. In the meantime, there were many empty tables! This is unacceptable. I hope that they get their act together and get many more servers, as it’s a very busy and popular restaurant with good food. They can be a great deal nicer, too. They come across as very uncaring and rough. You need to smooth things out there at the Waters Cafe otherwise you will really have lots of empty tables. Today, service and staff were extremely disappointing.

Stopped in for a quick bite of lunch, not realizing the cafe was at the casino. Glad we did!
The staff were all friendly and attentive. Props to the chefs here. And the food was plentiful and really good.
Had the chicken pot pie. This is more of a giant bowl of deliciously prepared chicken, peas, potatoes and onions in a thick and creamy gravy. Black pepper seasoning coming through well balanced. The crispy bread topper was beautiful and extremely tasty. More food than I could eat in one sitting.
The turkey burger and fries were delectable. Fries are steak fries with soft center and crispy outside. Satisfying.
Overall, happy we stopped in.

How do I experience bad service on a takeout order? Make it make sense. Train your staff to be helpful and attentive to guest & have your staff where they are supposed to be. Me & my daughter had to go down & order because guest services couldn’t get ahold of them & when I went down maybe half an hour later no one was at the host or to-go stand. I waited and just decide to order at the bar. Why did the male bartender see me and my daughter & say nothing, didn’t even help or acknowledge us even after he was done checking a customer out, instead started small talk with the customers eating at the bar like??? Super rude, you see a customer waiting and in need of help & do nothing. Then a man in a suit passively ask the lady bartender that helped us what’s going on? because there’s clearly a child at the bar. Maybe if you answered the phone & had your staff where they were supposed to, it could’ve been prevented right? Every time I come to this casino to eat it’s always a horrible customer service.

On this visit to Waters Cafe my party was seated immediately. Our server introduced himself, and I thought that’s a really easy name to remember. Of course, I forgot his name. But I do remember he had light colored hair and was very pleasant. He had a formal manner, and yet his demeanor was very casual. He seemed to straddle the casual/formal line with great effectiveness. He was informed about the menu, he checked on our table multiple times to make sure everything was okay, and kept us informed about our order. The pleasing aspect was that he performed all these formalities in a very casual style. He was casually-formal.
As for the food. I ordered the Open-Faced Turkey Sandwich. It’s a simple menu item. However, when done right. It’s comfort food heaven. This version was definitely done right. The bread was toasted and crisp, the mashed potatoes were fluffy, the turkey was moist and tender, and the gravy was silky smooth. But, what really topped it off was the incredibly tasty cranberry sauce.
The food was fantastic and the service was great. But, nope, I still can’t remember the server’s name.

The restaurant itself was very dirty. When we were sat at our table there were food scraps from the previous people on the floor under the table. I sat in some of the previous people’s dinner that was in the chair. The tabletop was sticky and still had rings from the previous people’s drinks.
Service was very slow. The drinks came quickly, but that was the only positive. It took twenty minutes for the waiter to take our food order. I took another 35 minutes to get our food after we ordered. The server was nice, but not very attentive.
The manager of the restaurant was just pacing around the dining room, not engaging with anyone and served no real purpose. He purposefully did not make eye contact with people so he wouldn’t have to hear complaints or talk to anyone.

No matter what you order here you will get more did than you can eat. Everything is super-sized and tasty.
One morning I got their seasonal pumpkin pancakes and could barely finish half the order. The next morning I had the huevos ranchers which were also excellent. Service is very friendly.

On 4th of July weekend we stoped by at Aqua Caliente Rancho Mirage for a couple hours while we waiting to check in at a hotel near by,So we had lunch at Waters Cafe and here is what I think.
Service : Our server was Nice,Friendly and took good care of us.
Vibe : Modern diner/cafe.Bright and clean.
Food : I got Flatbread Caprese and I love it.The cheese was tasty and hit the spot just right.My husband got Cowboy Cheesesteak Sandwich with no onion and no peppers and onion rings and he like it as well.
Simply delicious,Quick and easy spot for lunch.Worth to try.

The service from the start was great. The staff from the waitresses to the managers were very friendly and attentive. I had a large party and they made sure everything was done correctly and went smoothly. The food was delicious and no one had an issue. Everyone’s dish was perfect. This is the second time I’ve been here and it’s great every time. I will always make time to come here when visiting the casino.
