Good solid breakfast place. I got a country ham platter with grits and a biscuit. The country ham was a nice big thin slice cooked great and tasted wonderful. The eggs were just like I wanted and the only thing that kept it from being a 5 star were the grits. They were a tad soupy. You order at the counter, get your own drink and silverware, grab a seat and they bring the food to you. I was there about 6:30 and they weren’t too busy so my food was up fast. They were efficient and the food was overall good. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would.

Whoever is cooking needs to learn how to cook sunny side up eggs. The yolk should be runny not hard. I can’t even eat my breakfast now because the egg isn’t cooked right.

What has happened here? First order from here in a while and so disappointed. Biscuit was not a Water’s biscuit. Flat, dry, crumbled when unwrapped. Tenderloin had no flavor and was so dry, I was thankful I had a drink! Maybe just an off day??

I work at a store not far from Waters and one of our customers frequently brings us breakfast from here. Usually it’s great but yesterday my biscuit was dried out and fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it and the chicken was cold and tasted like it was made a day before.

The new management and owners are working hard to improve a favorite local restaurant. They are very nice, give great service and the food is delicious. The serving sizes are much larger now. My husband loves their grits and biscuits.

We got the tenderloin, it tasted like it had been boiled. The pancake was rubbery. Biscuits were not warm and the gravy was bland. No flavor to anything. Do not recommend and will not go back.

I visited for breakfast. I was not impressed. The scrambled eggs were good. The toast was cold and even though it was toasted, the bread was stale. I paid extra for “hash browns”. What I was served was tater tots. I was told that at the counter, I order my food, I get my beverage, and they will bring the meal to me when cooked. I ordered coffee. After my order was taken, the woman left the counter area. I looked around, and found some coffee cups. I found about one cup of cofee in a pot on a burner. I had to find someone to ask about cream. I was informed that it was in a cooler towards the back. I found it. Like I said, Not Impressed. Sorry folks, but I will not be back.

I got tenderloin sandwiches, and a biscuit. They put one piece of meat on each one, and it didn’t come close to covering the sandwich. They were $5.50 each. It would’ve been worth that had there been enough meat to call it a sandwich. They piled the lettece, and tomato on however the lack of meat on these three I bought was beyond ridiculous.

Very CLEAN, very friendly atmosphere. Great food. Homemade biscuits that will make you NEVER get one from a fast food establishment again because they are that great. Definitely a must stop if you are in this area. Dont know anyone here? Dont worry between the local patrons and the staff you’ll have new friends when you leave as well as a new favorite go to breakfast place.
