Wow what a restaurant! I can’t express how amazingly surprised we were! The service was 10/10 from start to finish, the atmosphere was fantastic music playing with a great set by the dj
We were asked continuously if everything was alright or if there was anything we needed
When the food arrived it was stunning and so tasty! Eyes bigger than our bellies we were able to bring the rest home in a cute containers and bag!
Treated after with complimentary shot of baileys
The value for money was superb we cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We can’t wait to come back again! If you haven’t already please try!

It was my first time here, visiting with my auntie and uncle for my upcoming birthday. I’m the “great nephew” just so it’s clear who’s doing this review!:) I think it’s outstanding, the atmosphere is great, you are made to feel so welcome by all the staff, it is single handedly the best customer service I have had anywhere. I can’t fault the food, the service or any of the staff and I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I’ve just had the best Indian curry ever — the food was absolutely exceptional! Every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The staff were incredible too — three lovely girls serving us, all so friendly and attentive, with quick response times and great attention to detail.
A big shoutout to Alfie, he was so welcoming and informative, letting us know what’s coming up next with Waterlily and making our whole experience one of the best we’ve ever had.
To top it all off, there was a live DJ playing great music, which created such a fun and vibrant atmosphere throughout the evening.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get — excellent value for money. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

I would like to take the time to say it was mine and jay first time visiting this evening and wow where to start from our first greeting with Alfie we felt so relaxed and was able to sit and order drinks and relax. We were taken to our table the view over looking the lake was breath taking and beautiful. Our server came jay nothing was to much trouble made lovely conversation. The food was absolutely to die for and far to much of it but we were able to take it home. We are both vapers and you trusted us to leave the table to both go outside together which was lovely, Alfie spike to us on return inside as we were looking through the windows of the outside room the new shisha lounge. Alfie took us inside it’s beautiful and we have booked a table to come back in November to try it. We had a little mishap with the server who brought our food out who dropped my rice all over the table. But myself and jay laughed and said it was a learning curve for the staff who felt awful, that didn’t change our evening which was stunning from start to finish. So please share our thanks to everyone tonight we will see you in November love Stacey and Jay xxx

I’m back 5 month on with Another review…. A party of 8 old school friends attended, we had a fab night (15th Jan 2026), Food, as always delish I had the Garlic chicken masala again and a couple of friends had the Chicken Shashlik, both delicious as were the other meals! (See pics from Jan 2026). Another lovely visit to The Water lily, we had a very warm welcome Alfie was very attentive all evening, food amazing as always. I had garlic chicken tikka Masala, yummy. Will be back soon

I don’t give 5 stars easily so treat this as a 5 star review. Food tasted really fresh. Flavours weren’t too strong or overpowering. Not as spicy as Im used to, but that’s maybe not a bad thing.
Fantastic service, really friendly staff and the price was reasonable for the type of establishment.

Probably the best Indian I have had, the lamb shashlik with extra toasted garlic was amazing. Free shot at the end of the meal was nice. Definitely be back
