Big shoutout to our waitress, Crystal, her energy was on point the whole time. She made us laugh, made us feel taken care of, and just made the whole experience better. The great service made the food taste even better.
I’m very impressed! It’s a must try!
I arrived at 6:30PM and was told my entree was not ready.
I agreed to sit at the bar and wait. The restaurant was not busy. Most tables empty including most of the bar.
At 6:50PM I asked for an update and was told by the young host “It’s not ready.” I asked how much longer I would have to wait and she said “Don’t know, maybe 30-40 minutes because there are 5 tickets in front of your order.”
5 tickets ahead of the 1 entree I ordered an hour ago in a half empty restaurant??
At 7:00PM I walked out of a HALF EMPTY restaurant with no takeout. A Manager couldn’t even bother to come talk to me or explain what was actually going on in this place. I’d give zero stars for service if googled allowed it.
Our waitperson was friendly and attentive, we started with martinis, I had the hottini, others had a pistachio martini, jolly rancher martini and a pear martini. All were delicious. We all had French onion soup (1 bowl and 5 cups) the serving size was big and served hot. Dinner included fish and chips with coleslaw, Ahi tuna, and southwest blackened chicken salad. The fish was nicely cooked and flaky, the fries were a bit soggy but the coleslaw had a nice hint of horseradish. The salad an tuna were good and portions were enough to share. Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and food, and will definitely be back
Sunday brunch is terrific with homemade breads and breakfasts from scratch! These folks know how to cook! Try the Quesodilla!! Our server, Ryan was excellent and professional, as is the entire staff.
UPDATE- STILL 5 STARS
We are just exiting the Omicron spike and I am so happy that the Waterfall has made it through! Once again, it’s crowded on the weekend and full of happy diners. It’s been 2 years since we’ve been here. We ordered take-out quesadillas- the Southwest and the Chicken-ranch. Both were deliciously prepared kept hot in our take out bag. Waterfall- is still a great spot!
FIRST TIMERS: we were here at the Waterfall Cafe on a Sunday during the height of the busy “brunch” crowd. The breakfast menu is varied and imaginative. The food itself was fantastic! (See the photos of a huge lumberjack omelet and a breakfast quesadilla). Food service was a bit slow, probably due to the crowd. The owner was on premise and making sure things were going well- a great sign! Prices are very reasonable. The crowd was very relaxed and full of regulars. I highly recommend for a nice leisurely weekend breakfast.
Update 12-19-22 went for breakfast. Bloody Mary’s were delicious and so were eggs Benedict
