Here at Waterbean Coffee, we always try to stay original and never follow the trends. In a time when most coffee shops focus on getting the customers in and out of their doors the quickest, we try to give them a place to relax, hold meetings, go over schoolwork, or just hang out with friends. We want to be more than just another coffee shop. Our founder’s international background brings a unique aspect to the space that most people don’t have. This is reflected from our menu options all the way down to our store designs. One of Tony’s favorite quotes is from Henry Ford: “Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.”

I really love this coffee shop, they have an amazing tea selection for both caffeine and non caffeine options that I appreciate. My husband also loves their pumpkin gluten free muffins.
The only reason I took off one star is because unless it is a sunny day, the lighting in there is really dim and hard to work for very long in that condition.
And I do end up needing to wait a long time to go to the bathroom because the employees seem to use the restroom as a phone break.
Overall, it’s a great coffee shop to come work for a bit and enjoy some quality tea!

Nice space and a fun menu! It was quite loud/rowdy for a coffee shop. Seemed like lots of group meetings. I wouldn’t come here to do work but definitely would come for coffee, I had a really neat drink that had taro on top.

I’ve been coming here with my wife since 2022 when they opened. It’s our favorite local coffee shop. The atmosphere is comforting and laid back, making it the ideal place to read or study. And the paradise iced latte is a signature staple! It’s like a coffee cocktail. There’s a variety of espressos and beverages. Feel free to tell them what you like and make your own how you want it. I love the paradise iced latte with the timeless espresso. It contains brown sugar and lavender syrups topped with purple ube cold foam. The sweet melody makes for a good snack too.

Best Barista … Alicia! Ask her and trust her judgement. That latte in the pic? Tasted like the best French toast. AWESOMENESS! Alicia is a machine managing front of the house. Always a pleasure to see her. Waterbean is a great place to meet friends, sit outside and just chill. Good and reasonable good options too. I am there at least once a week. And… I enjoy going to all there locations in NC.

Keep it simple to go. They really did keep it simple they didn’t even put the cream cheese on the bagel so now I’m not eating my keep it simple in my car to go because I have to actually make it myself and the whole point of making a to go order was so that I could eat it on the go. I will stick with the 127 location in Viewmont. It’s much better.

Upon walking in my aunt, and I was completely overwhelmed with the cleanliness of the environment how everything was organized. It was simply the best coffee I’ve had and I love my Starbucks only one that it ties with is is Scooters coffee. The cashier was extremely nice. Explained everything in great detail, and answered every question without hesitation. Highly recommend this one!!!

Nice coffee shop. Large open layout to store. Various coffees and teas served. Good Frape. Even maintained its coffee flavor along with the caramel flavor. Comfortable seating. Large table at back, could be used for gaming. Piano up front with soft couch and chair. 1 chair needs some TLC though. Someone carelessly spilled on it and it has not been properly cleaned. It does detract from the ambiance of the complete set up. Did not try the food this time, but it looked delicious. Coffee is excellent. Overall, an enjoyable visit.

This is a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable coffee shop to lounge or work. There is a lot of seating and a variety to suit your needs. We dropped by for a caffeine fix and left happily quenched. The paradise iced latte was interesting and delicious. I’m not an Ube fan, but the coffee, coconut, and Ube somehow just work. It was refreshing, light, and perfectly sweet. The barista, Gaosee, was pleasant and very informative about their specialty drinks. Great space to enjoy a cup of Joe, iced or hot.

Waterbean is on a whole other level when it comes to coffee shop experiences. My lattes are always hot and I love the latte art! I also appreciate that each order is placed in a ceramic coffee mug (so cool!). The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for those who need a space to work or hang out. I will definitely be coming back!
