The main dishes had appropriate prices and the food was amazing. Staff was kind and courteous, and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. However, desert is a little overpriced.

My wife got the Short Rib Tacos, I got the Fish & Chips. Both were extremely Flavorful & Well Made. The Fries were crispy but not Crunchy. Will definitely be going back again. Oh & the Hostess was exceptionally Friendly.

We had an outstanding experience at the Water Wheel Tavern! From the moment we sat down, our waitress Carly was incredibly attentive and truly elevated the entire evening. Our drinks were replaced with a speed and care that made us feel like royalty—never once left waiting.

The food was just as impressive. The steak frites came out cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered, and the French onion soup was absolutely delicious with a rich, perfectly balanced broth. Every detail, from service to execution, was spot on.

We’ll definitely be back—this is how dining out should feel!

Such a good place for dinner and drinks when the weather is nice out – especially on their patio! The appetizers were amazing, we LOVED the cheesesteak eggrolls and the lobster mac & cheese. Our drinks took a little time to get to our table, but our waitress was so friendly and attentive that it didn’t matter. Can’t wait to come back again!

Very impressed with the direction the new owner is taking this restaurant. Seems like there is a shift to more seasonal specials and higher quality proteins available on the menu instead of purely basic pub food. Service was lovely and the Manhattan from the bar was generous. Live music on Friday evenings at the bar is a very nice touch. Patio in the summer is a win!

So the food was just OK. At least at lunch time when we went. Ella our server was really sweet and did a great job! She kept my water glass full, they the entire meal. We had a bowl of French onion soup, delicious! A bowl of asparagus soup also good. Lunch was a chicken cheese steak, bland. And a French dip, again bland. No dessert.

Water Wheel has quickly become our favorite place to eat. The food is excellent, the servers are so kind, quick, and knowledgeable. Our empty glasses and plates always disappear with us barely even noticing, water glasses were refilled regularly. Every single staff member we came in contact with had a big smile and was so helpful. And, if for no other reason, please come try the soft pretzel knots. They are unmatched. The drinks are always unbelievable too!! I can’t say enough about how much we love this place.

The Waterwheel is a generally a good place. But this particular instance was for a company holiday luncheon. Instead of putting our group together a one table, they decided to split us up. I politely asked to have our group put together, but that request was declined. Our group of 16 was in a completely empty room with empty tables and chairs all around us, at least enough for another 40 people. The fact that my request could not have been accommodated is absolutely ridiculous. I’d recommend the Waterwheel for a group of two or four, I’d definitely not recommend Waterwheel for a larger group. They have the space for a larger group, but seem to not know how to use it. We will be booking our holiday luncheon elsewhere next year!

We actually had plans to try another restaurant and when we arrived they were closed unexpectedly. Water Wheel Tavern was a short drive and decided we would try it out. We had an amazing experience overall. Every employee was beyond amazing and all were incredibly friendly. The cocktails were amazing and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again.
