Had a great visit for lunch on a weekend day. Waitress was friendly and attentive. The food we ordered was delicious and came out quickly. Will definitely come back again as I ordered the daily special the day we went, the sandwich. The pretzel sticks were nice and soft and the beer cheese was made in house. The back patio was open to the beautiful view of the York River. Very convenient parking is available across the street in a parking garage for free.

Stopped for a late lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We had a burger with fries and fish and chips. Both meals were delicious. Service was also good. Would definitely visit again. Parking was easy to find right across the street in the parking garage.

It was my husbands turn to pick, and he chose Water Street Grille. They had their Yorktoberfest happening, so there was a lot going on the day we went.
The restaurant was a bit crowded, no wait, but pretty full. Our server had a lot of tables, and she still did a great job.
I got the fried shrimp tacos with chips.
My husband got the fish N chips.
We both really enjoy our food and the view.
Only downfall was we ate outside and the cold wind was being rude as hell. I thought a hot coffee and the heaters would help me stay warm… WRONG. so if it’s cold you can sit outside, just don’t sit where the wind hits you.
But I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!

We went to Water Street Grille on Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend. The crowd was moderate, and we only had to wait 30 minutes. We were seated in the patio with waterfront view which was beautiful. The service was top notch and the food delicious. We had the pretzels and cheese for starter. I had the fried seafood platter which was just right for my taste. My wife had the chicken tacos, and they were delicious. Highly recommended.

Donna was an awesome server! Drinks were great! Food was good, will definitely be back! Bonus is that dogs are welcome inside and on the patio! Views are incredible too and you can take a nice walk along the river after!

We sat out on the patio in 90+ degrees and was comfortable. Mya was awesome and always attentive even though it was super busy. She has a great personality and we felt like she really cared. Food was excellent! You have to try the Onion Rings! Best salad we had in a long time.

Stick with the fish and chips; they’re the most reasonably priced option since nothing else really stood out, though the restaurant does offer a decent view. However, the service was slow despite it not being busy—you might want to order your lemons ahead of time, maybe three times just to be safe, as mine never arrived during the entire meal. That said, the calamari and raw oysters on the half shell were both delicious and definitely worth ordering.
