The Dinosaur Egg is phenomenal, next time I stop by I may just order 3 of those with a drink and be satisfied. The poke was pretty good too!

Appreciate the reply- the price difference also makes sense as sashimi versus sushi. (We also got a hand roll when we ordered maki)
Is there a different platform we can use to order take out that is clearer on your end?
Normally love this- see photo of difference between what we ordered and what we got- including making the sushi inedible(sashimi is just fish, sushi was rice under and they put fried onion on top- I have Celiac’s and I put that in the order for anything that isn’t sashimi)

Was craving ramen and Watami did not disappoint! Got some fruit milk teas to go which were also delicious. Highly recommend, definitely will be going back.

Amazing sushi, I would recommend to anyone and everyone- the food was amazing and the service was better! I had the Sexy lobster roll, the Watami special roll and a few appetizers and it was the best I’ve ever had! May was my server and she was so so kind and helpful!! Would give 100/10 stars if I could

A nice find in Brunswick. The best sushi I’ve had in a long time – great flavor, texture, fresh. A sensory delight of the palette. The area is cozy, well lit, and clean and smells fresh. Service is prompt and attentive. Price is very fair. Food is wonderful. Can’t wait to return

We had hoped to like this place – we frequently go to Brunswick and we’re looking for a good sushi/ramen spot. Unfortunately Watami does neither very well. First – the ramen. The tonkotsu ramen was the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Ramen is all about the broth – and this one was literally like water – flavorless and thin. The sushi was only slightly better – very institutional. We came for lunch on a Thursday. I would not come back.

I am sitting at the sushi bar in your restaurant at this moment. There is no one else here. It would be pleasant if the waitress had maybe just a little smile on her face to make customers feel welcome. I ordered large sake/nothing special.
Place was empty but nonetheless waitress rush me to order.

menu indicates: crabstick?, scallop, fish cake and shrimp. All vegetables, instant broth. NO CRABSTICK?, NO SCALLOP NO FISHCAKE in soup.☹️☹️

Twice waitress asked anything else? anything else? Very annoying

Brought in fancy to go cup with check total $51.75
plus $8.00 gratuity (conciliatory)
I purposefully came less than well dressed.
I didn’t feel welcomed or even respected from the beginning.
The entire experience was much less than unexceptional
The waitress gave the the impression that I was not worthy to be within their walls

Overall, I like their foods except too much sauce on the salad. Next time I will order the house salad with sauce on the side. Their fried rice was so good. Tonkotsu ramen is lighter flavored of soup then I had in Osaka. It is good localized food. All the servers are very busy and passionate.

I always love coming here. The service is wonderful and the food has a lot of care put into it. I always get the shoyu ramen and it is to die for. The sushi is always fresh and the salads that come with the ramen are amazing as well! I love the brown sugar boba drink and couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Waited patiently all summer for Watami to open and it was totally worth it! huge menu selection. We ordered sushi rolls, a make your own poke bowl (we picked tuna), a pork jowl ramen bowl, brown sugar bubble tea, and a white peach oolong tea hot with cheese foam (sounds odd, and tastes like a light cheesecake topper and makes your tea creamy and DELICIOUS!). Every single bite of food was beautiful and flavorful. The decor is light and inviting and spacious, music was just a teensy bit too loud at one point, but as the restaurant filled up, it was a helpful damper to nearby conversations. We will be back soon!
