I really wanted to like this place. Looks amazing inside, decor is very posh, great layout. Service was not good at all, waited long time, had to keep asking for basic things that also was taking forever. They just didn’t have enough servers, and they didn’t seem to care. Food finally arrives, anything that was fried just tasted burned…realized later everything had the same burned taste as if the frying oil was just rancid at that point. The orange blossom was good, but the soft shell crab was just not good. The dishes were displayed beautifully, just something was not right. I will come back at least once more to give this another chance, but we left with a 160$ bill for the three of us (no drinks) and still felt hungry as we couldn’t finish some of the things. I should also mention it was about an hour before closing, maybe that had something to do with it. Will go earlier next time.

Wassabi is one of our sushi spots in town. The location is at Fig Garden close to other stores, like Whole Foods and La Boulangerie. The restaurant/atmosphere is great, and our server was very accommodating and helpful. The food taste great and so is the presentation. We’ve been coming here for years and it does not disappoint.

We had a late dinner, the restaurant was already closing. When the waiter asked if we wanted another round of drinks, he was told “bars closed” by the tender. Like I said, they should have been honest and said they can not accommodate. Food was good. Staff was not rude or anything, just unaccommodating.

We’ve been coming here for over 3 years and every time we do it’s great. Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. Casual/cool atmosphere. I definitely love this spot when I’m craving sushi or a bento box.
