Listen… every single time I visit Orlando, I make it my business to stop at Washington Shores Fish Market. It’s mandatory at this point.
I ordered the grouper dinner with French fries and hush puppies, and whew… that first bite? Immediate happiness. The grouper was crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. The fries were on point, and the hush puppies sealed the deal.
The portion was so generous and so good that I’m about to take a nap… and I still have enough left for dinner tonight. That’s a win.
If you’re in Orlando and you don’t stop here, what are you even doing? I’ll definitely be back — again and again.

Huge portions of fish, small little business in a strip mall setting no indoor seating if you know what you want you should call your order in or it’ll take about 15 minutes for them to fry up your fish. Forgot to use the hot sauce until I was finished next time, we’ll use the hot sauce.

I really enjoyed my experience here! I ordered the catfish dinner, and it was delicious. The only downside was that the fries were a bit bland. However, the portion sizes were generous, especially for the price. The establishment is small, with limited outdoor seating, so keep that in mind if you plan to dine in. Firstly, the owner or cashier needs to have better people skills. He is rude and condescending. Now, for the meat of the review. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst fish meals I’ve ever paid for. The fish was, tasteless, and looking like it had lost the will to live. The fish was hard, dry, and worst of all, it was frozen fish. The fish tasted like it was cooked with fear instead of seasoning. I thought it would get better—it didn’t. If hunger is your problem, this place will give you a new one: regret. Save your money, save your appetite, and eat literally anywhere else.

This place didn’t disappoint. Saw it on a girl Instagram and had to go while visiting Orlando. The food was plentiful, hot, fresh, and tasty. My daughter said I give it a 10 out of 10. Awesomeness. Lots of food for your money.

Going back on Saturday! Those cheese grits …. OMG! Our Food was hot, good, service was top tier and the prices were great for the amount of food you get. I went to the store for our wings and subs, then were informed by other customers to try the fish market also, we were very pleased. They offer pagers to alert you when the order is ready, so you can wait in the car. Glad we went around the corner for fish also! We tore that food down! Thanks so much! Prices were great!

The fish was good. I just prefer a better kind of fish I had catfish. I prefer a wild caught catfish and I know when you visit restaurants or places like this you’re gonna get farm raised in the taste is very different. There was a lot of dark spots on the fish that I didn’t care for and didn’t eat, but the fish was not bad at all. I had the catfish and, shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits was great. I could use some extra butter and pepper with my cheese grits, but I didn’t ask for it and none came in the bag, but it was still good. Everything was hot. Everything was cooked to order about 20 minutes. It was a Friday was very busy restaurant does a lot of business. I don’t have anything bad to say it’s just that for me I prefer a higher better quality of fish, but it’s very good. They have a drive-through which is very convenient and I would definitely recommend it.

This was my first visit. I did not like the environment at all, nor the fries & hushpuppies. However, the customer service was fine and my grouper & shrimp were good. Sorry, I ate the shrimp before I thought to take a picture. It seems like the seafood is cooked to order. It was hot & was about a 15 minute wait. If I return it would be for fish & shrimp, no sides.
