This is my first time eating at Washington Family Restaurant. I just happened to be in the area so I figured I would be my family there for lunch after church on sunday. There were a lot of people here, they seem to be a very popular place. We had to wait for a few minutes by the door when we walked in but it also looked like the amount of people that walked in was also the amount of tables that they had open so everybody got seated right away. For my drink I ordered coffee and I use the hazelnut creamer honestly I don’t always like restaurant coffee but this coffee actually tasted great, I even had a second cup!
We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. It came with marinara and ranch, I thought they were pretty good and they had a very successful cheese pull! I specifically like the meat sauce that was served with the cheese sticks.
For our main meals, I ordered the country breakfast, my husband ordered a meat skillet, and my son ordered the homemade chicken strips. The chicken strips came with a bowl of chicken and rice soup which tasted great, he liked it a lot. My husband ended up getting a bowl too.
All of the food was hot and freshly made and I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! I’m not sure if they were homemade but they really were great!
Are waitress Lisa was really friendly I really enjoyed talking to her. Ended up finding out that my husband used to be friends with her brother as they were growing up, small world! She said that she had been working there for 18 years, such a long time but she clearly knows how to get the job done, she was a great waitress! We just may have to come back and visit soon so we can try something else on the menu!

Food was decent. Breakfast all day is great. Hashbrowns needed more time on the grill, pancakes and syrup were bland, omelet was good. In an old burger king and you will notice by the layout. Bathrooms need some TLC.

One of my favorite breakfast places right here. Service is always friendly and promt. Food comes out fast and always tastes delicious. I’m a big fan of their biscuits and gravy and the crepes, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu. Breakfast is served all day and I’ll get it even during lunch and dinner and it’s just as good as the morning. Highly recommend.

It was my first time eating here and it was delicious! I got the homemade chicken strips and they had so much flavor, were juicy and big! The chicken breast was yummy and tender. I also got the homemade chicken and dumpling soup and it was sooooo good! Service was good but they do need help with servers. Hope they can find some people.

Had breakfast at Washington Family Restaurant. The food was pretty good and service was good but a bit slow for breakfast. We enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, as veggie scrambler with poached eggs, and a Swedish Pancake that was better than the rest of breakfast. Good solid food at a good price – but you might have to wait a few extra minutes for the food to arrive.

The only thing I liked was my burger.
The restaurant was super busy so we expected it was going to be good.
The server wasn’t super attentive and seemed too busy to really focus on her tables individually or maybe it’s just that we weren’t locals/regulars.
There were 3 of us. My burger was really good, but my fries weren’t done.
The other two weren’t impressed either. Ones fries were done one’s wasn’t. The young lady didn’t like her salad and left it untouched. Her chicken tenders looked and tasted manufactured. If they were actually real chicken they didn’t appear to be. I told the server. She took the chicken tenders off and still charged for the raw fries and uneaten salad. We didn’t pay anything about those two elements, but I waited tables for several years. I just assumed the whole meal would be comped because most of it wasn’t eaten. Never assume…..

Stopped for breakfast after snow removal. Really warms a guy up when he’s been out in the cold! Food is really good! Bacon was Perfect I would recommend stopping!
