We love Wasabi always. But this visit fell short. We waited a long time for my husbands roll. There were 3 tables in the whole restaurant. When we asked our server why we where waiting so long she flat out told us “it’s because they were to busy with take out orders”. Since when does take out orders take over customers sitting inside dining? Especially ones that eat here all the time. As you can see, I was done with mine by the time his arrived. And I ate very slow! the food is always excellent. The server needs to be more personable. We had to ask her where his food was. She never checked back also. Missed out on a good tip from us unfortunately. The time was 4:45PM

Good experience for my mother’s birthday today. The vegan options were respectable and the service was good. I thought country music was kinda odd with the theme experience we were going for today, but by no way a deal breaker. Very clean facility including the restrooms.

It was our first time eating at Wasabi last night (New Years Eve) and we were sat within 5 minutes for a party of 5. Zack was our server and he was amazing!! He was very attentive and overall just a great server! The food was delicious & the sushi was so fresh! They also gave us bags for New Years and made sure our grandma had one too . They all were so sweet and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely be requesting Zack when we come back!

One year later and this place is still my favorite sushi place near me. The quality of sushi is so good, and the rolls are delicious, a perfect filling to rice ratio. I always have excellent service and leave with a full belly and a great mood.

May 23, 2025 update: ??what happened?? The pan fried gyoza was raw on the sides that didn’t touch the pan. The chicken teriyaki had the texture of microwaved chicken??
Mar 2025 update: stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with the 2 lunch bentos that we ordered. Miso soup was nicely warm, there was fresh lettuce in the ginger salad.
Steak teriyaki bento had tender steak (~3-4oz).
Salmon teriyaki was moist and tasty – good!
Also tried the panko-coated shrimp/veg tempura appetizer – thumbs up!

My wife and I arrived at 5pm on Thursday in July. This is our second visit.
There was plenty of open seating, and pop music on the sound system (though we preferred authentic Japanese music).
The server was attentive and the chef was timely.
We ordered two appetizers; gyoza and calamari.
The gyoza was flavorful, but used unusually thick wanton skins.
The calamari was moderately tender.
We ordered the”wonderful” making role, and it tasted just as it sounded.
We then ordered the salmon and shrimp combo with fried rice plate and the shrimp and scallop combo plate with white rice. They were delicious.
Weer will come back.

Well, I normally avoid these restaurants, but I was in the area and saw great reviews, so I said why not? Well, that was mistake. I ordered the the regular sushi lunch. Eight pieces of nigiri, California roll, miso soup, and a ginger salad. Nothing special regarding miso soup or ginger salad. They were not bad. The main issue is with the sushi. First, I tasted the rice by itself. It was not the rice and no rice vinegar anything else was added. Nothing special about California roll. The sushi meat was not the best. They are edible, but that’s about it. The worst part was the ginger that comes with sushi. It definitely was not fresh. Not only did it not look fresh. You also tasted weird. And it was a bit dry. How can you mess this up?? So I guess for people who’s never had a really good sushi, this might be the gold standard, but for me just was near the bottom in terms of quality and taste. No issues with the service or the facility itself. If you just want to feel your tummy with whatever food you can grab, then come here. But if you’re wanting to experience a good sushi, don’t even come here.

We we’re excited to try this establishment, as it is very close to our home. We love sushi and hibachi, and Wasabi was on fire! The Restaurant is open and inviting. The service from start to finish was fast, friendly, and attentive! We started with the Takoyaki appetizer, which was so good, we haven’t had as good since on our honeymoon in Osaka. We got recommendations on the specialty rolls, choosing the Captain America and Long Island Beach Rolls, and ordered the Shrimp and Chicken hibachi. The presentation was immaculate and beautiful. The flavors were fantastic, with sauces that did not overpower the food (even the yum yum sauce). Bottom line, our only regret is waiting so long to make our first visit. If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? GO!
