Overpriced and the sushi tasted like it was made a day ago. Rice was hard and some pieces of avocado were unripe. You can probably get better sushi at a restaurant nearby for cheaper.

Food seemed fresh but portion is stingy, raw fish for sushi was paper thin. Rolls were decent. I do like the design tho.

Small and clean storefront. Challenging to find as it is hidden in the west concourse of the oculus. Fish was fresh but looked rather commercial and the rice lacked flavor. Portion was on the smaller size. There are other sushi stores in the area that are better for the price point.

Wanted to update my review from a few years ago. The food definitely got better so did the atmosphere! Really love the grab and go style. They have a wide variety of foods, both hot and cold, and a nice selection of beverages. Today I had the chicken katsu curry which was very good. When you need a quick lunch, this is definitely one of the top spots you can go to. Really love the layout of the seating area. It was a tad bit warm in the restaurant for my taste, but the seating outside in the hallway was definitely nice and cool. The staff was super friendly and nice.

Great place for a quick bite, nice selections of rolls and sushis all packed in a bento box at a fair price. You can also have salads, misso soups, oniguiris, edamame, all just grab and go.

It won’t be the most refined Japanese food, but its practicality, fair price and overall quality, make Wasabi a very nice choice for a lunch when in a hurry

When you walked in, you felt like you’re a store in Tokyo and not in NYC. The store is very clean. It has authentic fresh made sushi and rice ball. Delicious donburi like Gyūdon, chicken katsudon, curry katsudon, etc. Oh, they also has two very clean unsex restrooms with fancy hand dryer built-in facets.

Affordable sushi, not really authentic compared to Japanese but it’s good enough though..

Fish tastes good, good quality fish but rice portion is too much and rice was really bad. The advice printed on the package says to mix wasabi with soy sauce is seriously the most authentic way to consume real sushi and insulting to sushi makers.

Will still continue to support when our sushi craving hits again. Hehe!

Picked up the spicy sushi box and a chicken onigiri for lunch and it was sooo good. Love how everything’s already prepared+fresh so it’s convenient when you’re in need of a quick bite. They also sell a variety of Asian drinks and snacks to complement the food.

Efficient and clean service. A little pricey for lunch hour and sitting is often not available but still worth visiting for take out. They also carry Japanese sweets and unsweetened teas.

A fantastic little restaurant within the WTC. Moderately priced, and tasty Asian food. It’s one of my favorite places to visit when I come to One world trade. It’s underneath located in the oculus, right near the exit of the WTC observatory.
