Deliciously prepared food really fast (including sushi, & sashimi) served with good portions, comfortable booths and tables, great atmosphere with an enchanting goldfish pond and amazing kid-friendly service. Fun place to go with kids

I really enjoyed everything I received. It is true as some others have reviewed that you need to go ahead and order several items at a go and then stagger what you want because it takes a little time between to get them. I had a very good waitress who always came to ask if I wanted anything else quickly. She usually watches for me to pick up the menu and she was very attentive. I had no problem as the wait time was not unusually long to get my orders. I definitely recommend and it’s a good bargain if you like sushi rolls.

If you love sushi, like really love it, this is your new place. $25 person all you can eat sushi kids eat free and the have things that kids will eat on the menu. Amazing. I ate my weight in sashimi this would have cost me a ton any other place.

Day 10 of operation for this place and you could tell by the slight lack in communication in the serve staff and hostess. 15.99 all you can eat lunch which includes everything on the menu. The staff was polite and courteous and the food was quite tasty. Can’t wait to see how this place becomes in the following months. In short great food great staff great atmosphere and definitely will be back. I recommend the toko roll.

Have been there many times and always very good. Quality hot green tea, sushi and sashimi. All you can eat sushi menu which includes non alcoholic drinks price is hard to beat. Non all you can eat menu is larger with tempting choices.

We went on a Friday night, food was mediocre. Sushi rice was super dry, therefore all of the sushi were ended up tasting. The teriyaki chicken was so hard, seems like it was frozen and then thrown on the grill. I guess for people who don’t eat sushi this joint is good. Place was clean, and service wad good.

This has become a regular spot for my sushi lovers! I personally do not like sushi but that place has so much more to offer beside sushi! Definitely a must while in monroe and in the mood for Chinese Cuisine! The restuarant is well kept and the staff is amazing!

Poor service. Low quality food. We were seated at a table with none of the amenities every other table had (napkins, soy sauce, salt n pepper, etc). We waited a long time to have anyone acknowledge us after that. Got a drink after being asked and were handed cut out pieces of loose leaf paper to write the numbers of the items we wanted on the menu. Servers disappeared again. Waited a while after orders were put in. Received the wrong item even though I put in the correct number. No accommodation was made so I just sent back. The chicken yaki soba came with no chicken and udon noodles with soy sauce and a few tiny pieces of mushroom and broccoli. Brookshire’s has higher quality sushi. I guess you get what you pay for because prices were cheap. Had to ask for sauce and chopsticks. One sushi order was wrong. Also fork was put straight onto the menu with no napkin. Siiiigh. We went at around 2:45pm but there were still plenty of people there and I just expected better because of the location and visual appearance of the interior, exterior, and website. Won’t be back.

My husband and I really enjoyed Wasabi. We are not super knowledgeable about the different types of sushi and rolls. That’s what made eating here appealing, the opportunity to try all kinds. You can either order from the regular menu or you can do the all-you-can-eat option. Everything is made fresh, so it’s not a buffet. You write down what you want to start with, and they bring you small plates. If you want more or something different, you just write something else down. We only tried cooked rolls, no raw, but we liked and ate all of everything that we tried. Miso soup, Crab rangoons, steak teriyaki, gyoza, Monroe roll, TNT roll, LSU roll. My husband’s favorite was the TNT roll. Mine was the LSU roll, which is deep fried. Miso soup only so-so for both of us. Everything else we really enjoyed, and we’ll definitely be back. $25 for dinner a.y.c.e. Also great that they have regular teriyaki-type stuff for kids. A+

FOOD QUALITY, FOOD PORTIONS, FOOD COST and SERVICE. This is the criteria ALL people evaluate their reviews upon for restaurants and diners.
THAT SAID…
The things stated by negative reviews about WASABI centered around excessive waiting for food served and some food quality. I do agree with excessive waiting and somewhat on food quality. Serve time had been long for my wife and I but I quickly learned to order your next item 5-8 MINUTES AHEAD while you are still halfway finished with the items eating at present. For us, problem solved and we were not so dependent upon the Waitress de jour.
Food quality was hit and miss only on the soup ordered. All else, spot on!
Portions, each item small BUT you are EXPECTED to try a variety of food items. If you tried something not so pleasing that will be tossed then less food waste and therefore costs stay down.
Price… you are going to an all you can eat SUSHI / CHINESE! …I paid this amount 15 years ago at TOKYO ONE Sushi an Hibachi in Addison, Texas…ahh the memories! If you want just one or two items then YES.. not a good deal.

CONCLUSION: Best to go to WASABI with a small group of friends/family, take your time enjoying each others company, try and share different food items and your experience will be well worth it.
WE WILL BE GOING BACK!

(Remember, IHOP and SONIC are next door if not to your liking.)
