Last Night My Hubby Took Me To Wasabi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar For Our Valentines Day Dinner! Had Some Hibachi And Got To Catch Things With Our Mouths…Like Sake And Egg Pieces. And Boy Did The Chef Named Tu Tu Deliver A Most Spectacular Show For Us!! Definitely Was A Night To Remember For The Book! 10/10 Would Recommend If Ya’ll Want Something More Than Just Dinner! You Get A Show Too! Would 100% Go Back!!! Thank You For Making My Valentines Day Date Night A Night For The Books!!

I was in town for UFYL Footbal tournament. Dinner plans with an old friend put us at Wasabi Steakhouse. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and we were immediately shown to our table. We chose the hibachi side of the steakhouse. Once we were seated, we were informed we couldn’t order drinks from the bar because the bartender left at 7pm…we were highly disappointed! But we ended up going with the plum wine which was really good, sweet but good!!! Bring on the chef!!! The hibachi presentation was very entertaining. The food was excellent except the rice was a tad bit salty but the noodles and the rest of meal was fine. The service at the steakhouse was top tier and they allowed us to catch up without feeling rushed or in the way. Overall, I was pleased with my experience at Wasabi and would recommend a visit for family and friends if you are in Plant City!

So most of the food was excellent. However the noodles tasted like boiled spaghetti noodles from a box. No flavor. The fried rice…..wasnt. However all the meat was amazing. The Crab Rangoons were delicious as was the shrimp Tempura.
The service was amazing and the staff was on top of things.
We did not sit at the grill, we ordered from the kitchen.

I enjoyed the total experience at Wasabi. The waitress was very informative and assisted with question pertaining to our menu choices. The food arrived within minutes of placing our order. The food was fresh hot and delicious. I highly recommend the sushi. It was fresh, smooth and the flavors blended well.

We were in the area and decided to check this place out. It was a pleasant surprise. We sat on the sushi side and had a roll and a shrimp and lobster combo. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Emily was amazing as well! It ended up being our spontaneous Valentine’s dinner because everything was so effortless.

Wasabi is THE best sushi joint around, HANDS DOWN! It’s probably the best sushi I’ve ever had to be honest. I always order for lunch, because they have great lunch specials that come with 2 or 3 rolls (your choice) with a salad & soup for a reasonable price. I’ve been eating here for close to 2 years, and the food is still amazing. My favorite roll is the Mexican roll- it’s so fresh! My second favorite is the summer roll- deep fried deliciousness. I also really enjoy the rock n roll, dynamite, shrimp tempura, and Jacarada rolls as well. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been INSANELY good… The flavor IS there, and you will not regret it if you try it. Warning: It may become a new obsession!

Wasabi in Plant City is awesome! My daughter and I ate in and were seated immediately. We had several servers taking care of us-a team approach. Before I knew it, we had our drinks, appetizers, soup and salad-all fresh and delicious. We sat on the side where they don’t cook in front of you. It was spacious, clean, and well organized. Our dinners were delicious. The staff was above average. We didn’t want for anything! I highly recommend going to Wasabi!

Update: Ate here again Saturday evening at the Hibachi grill. The “show” put on by our cook was excellent. He engaged the smaller children at the table and they also loved it! And of course the food was absolutely wonderful.
Ate there Saturday right at 12 noon. The restaurant was clean and not too busy. We were properly greeted and promptly seated. Waitress was very nice and helpful. We both ordered Hibachi from kitchen (as the Hibachi grill is closed for lunch). We both really enjoy Wasabi’s vegetables with the carrots, mushrooms and broccoli. We also had the fried rice and steak. Both were cooked properly to order.
The Hibachi grill opens at 5 pm and is open all day Sunday.

The amount of food you get well let’s just say if you go home hungry it’s your own fault. Food was great. Chef had a great personality.
