Wasabi Jacksonville is one of those places that quietly does everything right. From the moment we sat down, Justin absolutely made the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, walked us through great recommendations, and struck that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the guest experience, which goes a long way.
The food itself was outstanding. Fresh sushi, bold flavors, and everything came out exactly as it should. You can taste the quality in every bite, whether you are going classic or trying something a little more creative. Nothing felt rushed and nothing felt overworked. Just really solid, well executed Japanese cuisine.

Absolutely wonderful!! I had a family dinner on Monday. We all had a great time. Tenderloin was delicious even though I am not a meat lover, and scallops were even more tasty and soft. They serve vegetables and rice before the main foods. They were so good that we all got to keep eating them. It was a lot of foods so we got to-go box with the leftover, and they were still delicious in the next morning. The chef was fun and nice. I would love to visit again.

I have been wanting to go to Wasabi Steak house for awhile and finally talked her into it. Went for lunch which was a great deal compared to dinner prices. I had the Ribeye and she had the Salmon, both came with a house salad. The plates were very large and very full of a mix of vegetables and fried rice with each getting a large portion of steak and salmon. We both left beyond full, but it was well worth it and very good.

Food was delicious. Our chef, De, was very personable and funny. Only.complaint is we had to pass our drinks and soup/salad down the table and when they clear and set the plates down on surrounding tables, it is unpleasantly loud. Chef addressed my adult children’s birthdays with a ‘rice cake’ with a candle and sang happy birthday which was a nice touch. Lunch prices are very reasonable with very large porions. Thank you!

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made me feel welcome. The chef was especially impressive, not only skilled at preparing the meal right in front of us, but also incredibly entertaining. The whole hibachi performance made the evening fun and memorable. Highly recommend for both the food and the experience!

The only real downside is the pricing. While you do get generous portions, the prices are fairly high, making this more of a place you visit for special occasions.

Took my son here for his 30th birthday with his family. The chef was amazing, entertaining and so good with my almost 3 year old granddaughter. She was a little bit scared of the fire tricks but some way he made her feel at ease and she started having a lot of fun! He gave my son the royal birthday treatment! He even sang happy birthday to him and the entire dining room joined in with us! The food was amazing and well seasoned. The portions were HUGE! Our waitress was always 1-2 steps ahead of us and we didn’t have to ask or wait for anything. Only drawback was I had to purchase the “birthday package” which consisted of an amazing tasting piece of cake for my son and a short drum performance at the end when we were so done that I thought he was going to leave before they came out. That being said it’s was still a 5 star experience.

My son and I came in one evening for some sushi and it was good. We decided to sit at the sushi bar (quieter side) and we enjoyed our meal. One thing I noticed after the fact, was that I was billed incorrectly for one of our rolls and it was a roll that was a way higher price than what we actually ordered, so remember to double check your receipt!

It’s a different type of experience where the chef Cooks the food in front of you according to your order and selected items. e.g. someone’s vegetarian disc to cook some has non veg and according to their choice.
Also they serve beer, alcohol drink soft drinks etc. and there is a bar in the main front entrance
