Not worth the risk… Pure negligence by the restaurant. Their “fun” smiley face fireball caused the fire sprinklers to go off. No big deal, just water, right? This was my son’s 19th birthday dinner and it felt very rushed. The chef was not engaging and focused mostly on the little girl at the table. My sister asked that he keep her salmon and shrimp to the side and instead he cooked it on top of the place where he cooked the steak.

We have been going here for years. The whole family enjoys the food and the show. Despite knowing everything this going to happen, it’s still enjoyable to watch. I am always impressed with the skill of the chefs. From the soup to the rice and finally the entre we enjoy all of the food here. Like most Japanese steakhouses it is quite pricey but I have yet to leave hungry and most folks can make it into 2 or 3 meals.

If you’re looking for the experience where they cook in front of you this is the place, but.. only when you go with a group of people or if it’s a special occasion. I’ve gone many times by myself or with a friend and left disappointed. There’s definitely better options when it comes to habachi style food here in Jacksonville!
