Solid restaurant, glad to have them in the Amherst area. I have always had excellent service during my few visits. The wait is never long and the staff are always super accommodating with my toddlers allergies.
The food is great for the area, obviously do not expect the same level of sushi from expensive big city restaurants. Everything Ive had here has been good and fresh. I typically don’t go for hibachi, but their fried rice did have great wok hei flavor last time I tried it. Overall no complaints and their service alone would keep me coming back again everytime Im craving sushi.

Consistently delicious. We used to do take out from here once a week, but after visiting the restaurant we now dine there. We look forward to the delicious sushi, kind service and cozy atmosphere.

Food is alright but the service is terrible!! Got some racist vibes from the male waiter. When I received my food and said “ thank you so much” he didn’t not reply with anything and just walked away but was super welcoming to other customers and talked to them with a genuine smile and excitement. I order 3 sushi rolls and they came in just one plate so it didn’t take me long to finish. He was sitting right across from me and kept using him phone. Did not look up or check on me for once to see if I needed anything. I kept looking at him for more than 15 mins to give him a signal for my bill but he didn’t think to look up even once. I was thinking about getting another roll but because of his service I didn’t and just walked up to the counter to pay instead. Not coming here again!

This is my favorite sushi place in Buffalo. I’m very impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. Everything tastes super delicious and the quality is always consistent any time we visit this restaurant. The atmosphere of this place is very cozy and inviting. The food at Wasabi is consistently good. The service is also good. And the prices are quite reasonable. The atmosphere inside is good too, if you want to eat in. I’ve tried several different items here and have been very pleased. The spicy mango shrimp is especially good. I will say that the pad Thai, although decent, could use some improvement. But, then again, this isn’t a Thai restaurant. As far as sushi, they have a nice variety here, so something for everyone.

Fantastic sushi! The seaweed salad is amazing so it’s a must on the starter menu and the specialty rolls are delicious— my favorite is the alligator and crazy tuna but there are so many more to try. The service is great, it’s conveniently located in a plaza on Hopkins. I also will say that their lunch specials are a must, the prices are less expensive than the dinner prices with comparable portions!

The sushi here was amazing, the rice was soft, the nigiri was excellent, everything was perfect! The ginger dressing on the salad was something I had never tasted before and was so delicious that I bought some to take home as a souvenir. It is a six-hour drive, but I would like to go back again.

They have some of the freshest fish in buffalo. The Scottish salmon is my favorite -it’s buttery and full of flavor. My go to Japanese/sushi spot in the area.
