On the top of all the rolls and noodle dishes this place has a wide variety of other things. We got unagi bowl and tofu dol-sot-bop. We also got shrimp shumai and sake. All was delicious, except for the cold unagi bowl. The dish was delicious, but we have never seen it served cold before. We enjoyed our friendly waiter and nice atmosphere while sitting outside. It’s a great place to chill, enjoy food, and watch other people do the same.

We went on a Friday afternoon around 630 and had a table of about 10. Service was OK, it seemed like our waitress was the only one taking care of the inside and outside tables. The vibe was so relaxed and laid back. I have to rave about their ability to handle allergies! Unfortunately I have an allergy to sesame seeds and sesame oil (hives, closed throat etc). They were able to make sure I could get sushi without seeds or oil! It’s a big deal because most of the time other restaurants (ironically their sister store Shogun) was unable to accommodate for my allergy. 10/10 recommend for any get together!

Good Sushi and Hibachi on Dixon Street. Indoor or outdoor dining with good wait staff. Value for money is a little low.

My dog & I enjoyed lunch on their patio! The lunch bento box was huge & I loved the complimentary edamame. Prompt, friendly service.

We ordered the flaming sushi roll, and it tasted horribly bitter. Almost like the fluid they used to light the sushi seeped through the whole roll. My boyfriend should have said something sooner but he tried to power through it until it came to the last 2 pieces. I tried one to confirm what he was tasting, and right when the bitter taste became too overwhelming the server walked over asking how the food tasted. Seeing as I wasn’t able to swallow the sushi I had to tell her the truth. The server was really nice about it and went to talk to her manager. Unfortunately, since my boyfriend powered through the majority sushi they were unable to do anything about it, not that I expected anything since we were originally not going to say anything. My tofu hot bowl was good, and the server was really sweet which saved the dinner. Also the whole restaurant smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was off putting to the appetite

Sticky, dirty, almost everything. Server was nice but had too many tables. Sushi was less than average and looked old. However I ate it and am still alive wife’s rice tasted like plastic. Hung over manager replaced it with different fried rice but still charged…. Clearly Wasabi has been going down hill over the last several years. Meanwhile, lots more competition. Poor them….. Ryan’s disserve’s a better neighbor..
