Pretty good. Comparing to any chain type of bbq it was stellar, but comparing with real craftsmen who smoke as an art it was good. Bit too salty, sauce needed a bit more kick, beans good, slaw okay, corn bread dense and moist, note i ONLY only only had pork ribs not the brisket ( and thats where the real artistry is required so i will get that next time ) and only referring to the pork ribs, on that item alone, the smoke penetration was not very deep but meat was moist and easily lifted from the bone, some silver was left which is always unappetizing. Received a 1/4 rack with fixins for $20 which I guess is average ? Dirty fries pretty good. Taxidermy was over the top .. got goosed by a gazelle trying to get to the bathroom. Worthy of trying once if in the area but not what i woukd call a destination.

This is the kind of barbecue place that we need more of. From the time you walked in the door you know that what you’re going to get is premium high quality meats. I got the meat platter that had a nice variety of chicken, ribs, and brisket. Every single bite was melt in your mouth delicious. I also want to point out the amazing baked beans. These were authentic baked beans, not the BBQ sauce smothered slop you get everywhere else. I hate when the beans are sweet sauce flavored. They should be smokey and savory, just like these beans.
I’d give a ten outta ten for these two reasons alone, but on top of the amazing food was a wonderful staff, the young lady at the counter, and the mustachioed gentlemen cooking were friendly and made us feel welcomed. They reminded me of back in Louisiana where you go into a place and everyone welcomes you like old friends.
I highly recommend trying them out. The only regret I have is not getting one of the giant cookies. It looked amazing and my wife wanted one, but we were stuffed by the time we left.

Currently on a quest to find the best brisket in Washington!… It’s not here tho. Speedy customer service and friendly staff. The brisket was a little dry, had enough smokiness but needed a little extra flavor. Cornbread was drier than Grandma’s homemade biscuits. BBQ Sauce is decent. Portion sizes are ok. Overall 5.5/10

Been for breakfast a few times, first time having lunch/dinner. Brisket was fork tender, nice bark on the fall-off-the-bone ribs, good smoked flavor on the chicken. BBQ sauce is very mild but they offer a kicked up version if you ask for it. Gumbo was very seafoody and not spicy, so not to my taste at all.
Banana bread doesn’t have quick bread texture, more like kneaded yeast bread.
Chocolate covered strawberries are delicious!
Staff was always friendly and helpful. Do your own drink service. Seating is limited, but I’ve never seen it busy.

This location is HORRIBLE compared to Fife. Very expressive Chicken Caeser (main dish) salad came with very small 5 chicken slices and mostly lettuce. Beef brisket was very dry, endedup not finishing it. Ordered split pea soup that came at the end of our meal an was way too salty and gross. Over all very bad experience including service. NEVER GOIN TO EAT THERE AGAIN. What a shame!

We reserved a table for eleven. You order at counter and your food is brought to you. There is a “bbq station” with running water so you can wash your hands and go back for more house made bbq sauce; which can be coated onto anything. The food was awesome and the staff was friendly and helpful.

First time here and probably last time. I got the brisket with baked beans, potato salad and cornbread muffin. They put a healthy amount of bbq sauce on top which I don’t like, which tasted generic. The brisket itself was a sad, gray piece of meat with no life. There was no crust, not much flavor and tasted like it had been microwaved. It was mostly tender but some pieces were quite chewy. The baked beans were fine. They tasted like chili. The potato salad and cornbread muffin was also just fine. Warthog BBQ Pit isn’t doing anything special that I could see or taste. I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day?

I’ve been here once before and had no real complaint, this time I order the fries ( nearly $8 ) and they are completely burnt, actually inedible. Not to mention the other food seemed like it was severely over microwaved. Not worth the price at all if they’re willing to let food of this quality go out the door, seemed like they completely neglected the whole order.

Clean, comfy and, warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Was skeptical because it never seems crowded. But the food was on point. I got a variety, which consisted of brisket, ribs, and chicken and the sides that come with it. We ended up paying less than 40 for both plates combined. Didn’t try the desserts, but the pies and cookies looked delicious. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they make you order and pay right when you walk in the door, and then you choose your own seat. I enjoy to browse the menu while I am seated. It was also nice because the waitress never bothered us while we were eating. We got our own drinks and refills if needed. Big flat screen TV also with football on when we were there. Clean bathrooms. Good experience.

I have been to warthog several times before. The food was always on pointe. Today it was a tad off kilter. The brisket wasn’t as tender as it normally is, the turkey in spots tasted gamey and the cornbread muffin, no thank you.
The rib, beans and potato salad were very tasty. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
I’ll probably go back and give it another try. 2-14-2022
