We had the wings and were surprised at how sweet they were. The loaded pulled pork nachos were excellent. The ribs were falling off the bone tender and had good flavor but unfortunately the BBQ sauce tasted like sweet baby rays and the hot sauce seemed to be Louisiana style hot sauce. We do wish others would have been with us so we could have tried more dishes. If in the area we will swing by again.

We stopped by the Warden’s table after touring the old prison. We tried a variety of the food items and had a great time. I especially liked the Smoked Brisket and would definitely have it again if I’m in the area.

Toured Brushy Mountain prison yesterday and had to eat at The Warden’s Table. It was a fantastic experience. Very sweet girls taking the orders. You eat prison style on steel trays just like in the prison. I had a smoked bologna sandwich that was probably 2″ thick. It was smoked perfectly and full of flavor. Got an order of curly fries that were delicious. Cooked perfectly and a big serving. You also got a slice of watermelon and a chocolate chip cookie. The atmosphere is really cool. It’s like a prison chow hall. Very clean and very well run. A BBQ assembly line pumps out food quickly. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I highly recommend a visit to The Warden’s Table.

Awesome spot for lunch. I had the smoke bologna sandwich and my buddy had pork I believe. My sandwich was great. What puts this place over the edge is the atmosphere right next to the old prison and the restaurant was setup with prison bars and stuff. Really cool. And wow, the bathroom can hold like 40 people.

We come with a tour group and was ONLY offered their standard tour group food. Which was corn cake, turkey, Mac & Cheese and green beans. I was not a fan simply because Turkey is just not my favorite meat. I did eat the other items and they were good. I feel their goal with our lunch was to give us the “prisoner” dining experience. Not really sure.

Loved the cuban wrap with pork ham swiss and light mustard. Came with a cookie to my surprise. Mac n cheese as a side. I enjoyed it after my guided tour through the prison- i was worn out and happy to eat something afterwards.

Food was quick & delicious. I had the bbq pork nachos, Terry had a bbq stuffed baked potato with a slice of watermelon & a chocolate chip cookie. John & Becky split a brisket French dip sandwich with fries . All of us were happy with our food & would at there again. We loved the setting of the restaurant.
