Stumbled upon Wapos for lunch and had the best Mexican food in Boulder! The chef recommended carnitas and al pastor tacos and they did NOT disappoint. Incredible flavor and even better service from the chef himself, will definitely be coming back!

We went for my aunt’s birthday. The food was phenomenal. We had a bunch of people and the server was so hospitable. The Omg burrito was insanely huge and had amazing flavor. The tacos were also awesome the carnitas were very juicy and tender. This place will be a future tradition.

Today, I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant while celebrating my daughter’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by how immaculate the establishment was, and the service we received throughout our meal was nothing short of perfect.
My personal highlight was the fish tacos; they were incredibly delicious and remarkably fresh, truly a standout dish. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive, further enhancing our dining experience. The overall quality of the food was simply amazing.
I would enthusiastically give this restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I thought this place had great food and an interesting atmosphere! Okay, the place is not fancy by any means, but the almost shanty-like appearance gives it that hole-in-the-wall feel that comes with so many of the best local restaurants in the U.S.! The table salsa was surprisingly flavorful and spicy. The meals were nicely presented and tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the quality of service was great! It’s now on my list of Mexican-food favorites in the Boulder region!

We visited the Lafayette restaurant and had a delicious lunch. The service was immediate and attentive. The restaurant was really clean and the decor unique, but familiar. We enjoyed their homemade tortilla chips and spicy salsa. One dish we ordered was the fish tacos. Of course, very fresh and the fish seasoned well. The other dish was Tacos Al Pastor. The meat was perfectly spiced and tender. So good. Other dishes we ordered were the dos Flautas and a kids beef taco. Very good and homemade! The food here is authentically Mexican and really good! Service is great and so friendly! I recommend!
