I got the beef lo mein and side of fried rice.
It was bad. The noodles are smooshy no flavor, the rice is so dry no flavor either. I couldn’t even finish it.

So, so good!!! And the portions are insanely big. This is a great mom and pop place; a real gem in South Texas. I ordered the combo lo mein which was so delicious. The flavors were heavenly!! Definitely coming back! We’re lucky to have this place here in South Texas.

It’s a small mom and pops place. Off the beaten path. Husband and I ordered the Triple Delight with fried rice. Wasn’t too bad. Due to pandemic we had to order To Go. They should put a couple of tables outside. Oh, and it’s CASH ONLY.

Very reasonable lunch portions and prices. Tried the Mongolian beef it was very tender. Regular fried rice was okay. Spring rolls and egg drop were great. Daughter had sweet and sour chicken which was very good and all white meat. They were very nice to let us sit inside right before closing in afternoon. Fyi specials with entree, soup, rice and egg roll are 6.75. They don’t serve ice water but you can buy a bottle of water for 50 cents or a can of soda for $1. I was suprised for out here!

Good food if you can get them ever open. I’ve become more familiar with their answering machine then them. But yeah, that’s why I keep my hopes up. Maybe some day I’ll get an answer to place an order.

I don’t often get to come to Texas, but whenever I do, I make it a point to drive to the rinky-dink little town of Natalia, Texas, so that I can come to Wang’s Wok. I spent six weeks in China and this hole-in-the-wall is the closest I can get to the authentic Chinese cuisine that I experienced and fell in love with in Beijing.
The beef fried rice is so good that I sometimes dream of just sitting at the table and shoveling glorious spoonfulls of it into my mouth, savoring the beautifully seasoned beef, the perfect texture of their fried rice, and the delicious cooked egg that ties it all together as I take one bliss-filled bite after another… Well, okay. I don’t ACTUALLY dream of it. But I wish I did because it really is that good!
And the prices! Good grief! The prices are so cheap! I feel like I’m robbing these lovely people because it’s so inexpensive. The Fed needs to learn a thing or two from this place about competitive pricing because you won’t find a cheaper place with such phenomenal fares West of the Mississippi! Or East, for that matter. Really just nowhere else in the Continental United States…
This place really is just fantastic. It IS a hole-in-the-wall, and the exterior of this place is so off-putting that my wife wouldn’t allow me to try it (before I wore her down with my puppy dog eyes) because she thought I might get kidnapped… But the food, the prices, and the staff there are truly of the highest caliber.
I’m thinking about naming my unborn child “Wang” in honor of this place… But I should probably run it by my wife first.

Food is good. Reasonably priced. The only downside is you can’t order a glass of water, you would need to purchase a bottle water. Also, there is a .75 charge for tea refills (per refill).

Food is not compatible with what’s on the menu for example the generals chicken on the menu is not what it should be. They have no fried rice only white rice. They do not accept debit or credit only cash. Wangs wock is minimal satisfactory on service. I give them one star rating.
