This place is not even mid. I live across the street, I can pickup by walking to it in 5 minutes. I’m used to NY style Chinese food from Florida or New Jersey. I don’t know what this even is. The rice isn’t even cooked properly. I can cook rice better myself. I’ve been twice and it’s been horrible. Never going back. I’m starting to think Denver can’t do Chinese food. You can get frozen general taos chicken and frozen pork fried rice at King Soopers that ismt great, but it’s better than this.

This place has been around for longer than I’ve lived in the West, but it seems to have seen better days. Ill kept bathrooms, filthy windows, and food that, unfortunately, is below par. My dining partner and I had lunch specials on a recent weekday. Her sesame chicken looked quite nice, but my Sichuan shrimp was bland and had four shrimp. I know costs are high these days, and prices at this place are very reasonable, but come on!

We always liked the Egg Foo Young from Wang’s, however this last time we ordered they changed the recipe and are now adding breading filler to the egg patty to make them bigger. They may be bigger, but they taste terrible. Disappointing, will not be back.

Food is atrocious, below mediocre. “Fried rice” is not fried, is cold white rice microwaved with some soy and as bland as it can be. Have you all heard of salt or msg? The bbq pork was dry to the point of suspecting it was nuked from yesterday’s pork chop. The pork wonton was the size of my pinky nail and 95% wrapper. It was 1/8 of an oz. Literally a pinch of pork. We didn’t eat our food it went in the garbage disposal. These guys are terrible cooks and rip you off. Don’t waste your money here. As with 90% of restraunts nowadays, if we accept mediocrity at inflated prices thats what we’ll continue to get.

How do they think Tom Yum looks like: thick broth that tastes like celery, slices of celery, carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts, egg flakes and four small shrimp. Seafood Combo Delights: huge pieces of green cabbage, carrot and zucchini have earthy taste, four small shrimps, very cheap snow crab and things that look like scallops but taste like fish balls. You’ll never see us again.

We’ve been coming here for years and the quality of their food has always been fantastic! We love how crispy the lemon chicken is and their Lo Mein is delicious too! It’s one of our favorite local places to go!

I think we made the mistake of ordering this through an app again. My bad on that part. Could someone please tell me where frying a bunch of noodles and putting it atop stir fried meat snd veg comes from? Many Asian cultures pan fry noodles but none I have come across do so like this. Even if it does have roots in Asia they are rubbery and tough when expecting pan fried noodles. The other dishes seemed like a $1 scoop place. The dumplings were good all not a fan.

I ordered my last meal from this place. Im in hospice. They messed up my order 3 times and won’t redilver the correct order. All I wanted was fried rice and soup and they yelled at me and said if I wanted my food I had to come get it. Im in hospice how am I sopost to do that? My food was sauggie and not good. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!! WORST PAN FRIED COMBO EVER!! Sauce Leaked all over the bag and in our vehicle. Return to store as it was completely uneatable!!! Asked for refund and was denied!! Offered only a lesser value food. Will never go back after over 15 years of being a customer!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Not to mention food poisoning and being sick all night after eating the dumplings.

I just realized I have been going to Wang’s Gourmet for 30 years. It was a standby when I was in High School and it still is, now in my 40s. They’re still consistent and good. I do wish they’d bring back the old General Tso’s recipe from the 1990s, but that’s probably long gone. Either way, they’ve remained friendly, fast and good. Let’s hope they keep going!
