I hadn’t been here in about a decade but I decided to give it a try. Service is super friendly and the food was surprisingly fresh. Keep in mind I purchased a couple of Chinese dishes and they reminded me of how Americanized Chinese take out was prepared years ago before many places decided to jazz it up and raise the prices dramatically. The General Tso’s chicken and Chicken with Chinese vegetables hit the spot and the price tag for 2 lunch specials and a can of soda was just over $20. One thing I noticed was that the prices on the “Tex Mex” style food seemed a bit higher than what they were worth.

Always trust your instincts when thinking about ordering from an odd place like this.
General Tso’s with Pork Fried Rice – Tasted closer to a sweet mango sauce oddly enough. It wasn’t terrible, just weird. Texture was spongey. The rice barely had anything mixed in and was very bland.
Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce – Hot, dry, plain lomein noodles with a Peanut Sauce mixed in, and used the same chopped lettuce as they did with the burrito. An odd appetizer.
Pork Egg rolls were surprisingly not greasy and tasted good enough.
Chicken + Steak Burrito – One of the worst “burritos” I’ve had in my life. It wasn’t wrapped, the meat was dry and had zero flavor, mixed in with a pound of flavorless rice and black beans. A pinch of cheese was melted on top of the lettuce. A few squares of tomatoes were laying around too. This has to be one of the most sad, effortless meals prepared from any eatery.
The night of / next day was not fun either. 5 trips to the throne! Only after eating about 1/3 of each item above.
If you’re desperate for Chinese, come here and there might be something you’ll like. But don’t even think about getting anything from their Mexican menu.

Steak taco was disappointing. I’d skip the tacos entirely, you’ll enjoy the same quality at home but if you must I recommend the guacamole taco.
The general tso was amazing. The rice, the sauce, the meat. Every bite was great.
I’ll definitely visit again, and even give the Mexican food another go. I like the fact that they have both.

One of the best Chinese food in Maywood neighbourhood. Tried Vegetable fried rice and Chicken Chop Sui. Good taste better than anticipated and very affordable price.

DON’T DO IT. I should have kept walking. I stopped in for the texmex and it was horrible. The shrimp smelled old. The rice was nasty and the steak was hard and bland. I tried, I really tried but my stomach is in knots from the smell and the taste of the rice.

The Mexican food they offer is disgusting and bland. Absolutely no seasoning and not fresh. The salsa is similar to pink water. Never again and it’s too bad because they used to be really good.

Ordered general Tso. Nice and crispy. It could a better dish if less sauce is used and little more spicy. The rice is perfect. I don’t know if I got a special white rice or not, but I asked for no oil. The rice was cooked perfectly also I think it is jasmine rice. Good rice is like a good bread. It make the meal complete.

This place is decent. Probably the best chinese food place in that I’ve tried around the area. Quick ordering and the orders have always been correct and piping hot. Never tried the “taco” part of the menu so I cant give input on that side. I am giving 3 stars because I can’t say that it’s really good/great, but it also isnt sub-par/bad. It’s just simply okay, right in the middle.

Out of all the places near me to get Chinese food this place is the one to order from. Plus side is you can always get some Mexican food as well. Fast , hot and good. I don’t care for many of the other places near me. It’s hard to find one you like, so I found this one awhile ago and I stick with them. It’s nice that they are somewhat near and deliver to my town as well.
