This spot is such a hidden gem for fusion food! The place is pretty small and was packed when we got there—we waited about 30 minutes for a table, but honestly, no regrets. The gamba was super tasty—no frozen shrimp vibes at all, and the sauce was amazing. We were seriously impressed. The pork belly had a nice balance too, with flavors kind of like carrots and sweet potatoes. Only thing is, we thought it’d be a big slice, but it came dice chopped, so that was a little disappointing. The Brussels sprouts were also on point. As for the chicken masala, it’s a solid, reliable dish—simple but really good. Overall, we had a great meal and would definitely come back!

We had the Penne Alla Vodka with added chicken , Chicken tikka masala, Pork Belly Entree, Naan dumplings and Gambas. Naan dumplings tasted nothing like an Indian dish but it was interesting. The Pasta was delicious and Pork belly was good. Gambas was good. The chicken tikka masala was decent. My only issue is that its a little pricey for the food. Service was decent. Worth trying for the interesting menu.

The main wanderlust got me to pay attention.
Description of fusion food in West Virginia and the reviews are the reason why we came. And it did not disappoint. It’s a little awkward to have to place the order at the counter, but with only one person running all of the front end, I can see why. we ordered the muscles, which were over the top fantastic, the beet salad, which is something I will crave in the future, and the tikki masala was probably some of the best we’ve ever had. They offered good wine, the atmosphere was good a little bit smoky though from the kitchen and little hot on a hot day. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone

We stopped as we were passing through and are so glad we did. We had the best meal out that we’ve had in a long time. The pickled beet salad was fantastic and the pork belly was amazing! We were served way more food than we could eat but somehow we ate it all anyway. I can’t wait to go back and try the lamb burger.
Update: the lamb burger is delicious and so is the chicken pimentos. Service is great, too!

Great food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Fayetteville. The two women working were friendly and provided great recommendations with top notch service. Seating is sort of limited so be prepared to wait 20 minutes for a table but they do a great job of moving people through. The naan dumplings were exceptional. Lamb burger was very good! They have great artwork on the walls and most of it is for sale.

It is not very often that I am blown away by a restaurant…..ESPECIALLY in Fayetteville WV! Wanderlust provided cuisine that you feel with every bite! It’s hard to explain it but I actually felt excited each time I brought the fork to my mouth! I started with Mussels Vin Blanc! They were delicately steamed in a velvety white wine and cream sauce mixed with shrimp stock with Prosciutto! I was hesitant to take the suggestion of making them “Diablo” style….but instead of an inferno each bite was heavenly!!! For my entree I ordered the Pork belly. Mind you the presentation on these dishes were superb and definitely photoshoot worthy (see photos), It was the excellent pairing of succulent Berkshire pork belly drizzled with a Pork Demi, Basmati rice, Brussels sprouts and a carrot puree that tied everything together as if they were related. My mouth was sad when I came to the end of these gracious portions! If you are ever passing through you need to stop at this hidden gem!!! The local artwork on the wall also made the decor intriguing and very explorable!

Run to Wanderlust Creativefoods in Fayetteville. Best food I’ve had regionally in a long time. The Caesar is tossed in a delicious lemony dressing with a giant parmesean crisp on top. The Brussels were the perfect combo of crisp, sweet, and savory an the absolutely prefect lamb burger was loaded with goat cheese and pickled beets. Amazing food! Really wonderful people and vibe. This is a must try and my new favorite when in town.

Amazing food, service, vibe, and atmosphere! Soon after the chef delivered our food, I could tell he made the dishes with love, creativity, and passion. I had the golden beet salad – the best salad I’ve ever had. My friend had a penne pasta dish with chicken and it was the most unique and delicious pasta dish we’ve ever tasted. We shared delicious naan dumplings. It makes me so proud that this wonderful restaurant exists in the heart of West Virginia and rivals, even surpasses metropolitan restaurants. Please visit this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious! The lamb burger is worth the trip just by itself. This was our first time having the Penne Alla Vodka and it was fantastic as well. The owner, Michael, goes out of his way to make sure you will have a fantastic dining experience. You can tell he takes great care with the food coming out of his kitchen. A perfect lunch or dinner spot if you’re looking for something a little different to fill your empty tummy after a local adventure.
