I was struggling with what to order until a server brought out a plate of the 4 piece fish dinner and as soon as I saw it, I was hooked…pardon the pun. You can substitute the sides, so instead of cole slaw I got mozzarella sticks. The fish was really good, mozzarella sticks pretty good, mashed potatoes were meh. My wife got the small chicken tossed salad…it was pretty good and cheap.
Everyone that works here is really nice. We’ll come back next time we’re in town for sure.
There were customers already in the restaurant but some of the ceiling lights were off. The waitress came over and turned them on but half of them were burnt out so it didn’t make a huge difference.
The bathroom was mostly clean but the walls and door could use a good scrubbing. I saw four different female employees standing around the cash register so they had plenty of help and time to clean. If you have time to lean then you have time to clean.
Food was good. I had a cheeseburger and mashed potatoes with gravy. No spoon for the mashed potatoes which was a bummer. Ever try to scrape mash out of a styrofoam dish? My companion had a pulled pork sandwich and french fries. The potatoes were delicious both mashed and fried.
The whole restaurant just felt a tiny bit neglected. How difficult or expensive is it to replace light bulbs? Or scrub the edge of the bathroom door where people touch it?
Kinda made me wonder what the kitchen looked like.
After reading the response from the owner I’m adding the following.
I was there for dinner and that is hours after lunch with plenty of time to clean up. It costs mere pennies to purchase cleaning products and light bulbs are not going to break the bank either.
Blaming the previous owner for the appearance of the business from two years ago is unprofessional as is choosing to utilize all capital letters. Not sure how the pictures I posted are lying.
It’s also not my responsibility to reach out via Facebook and presumptuous to assume that it was worth my time at the moment. Looking at the responses from the owner to other reviews, it’s acceptable for her to wait 5 months after someone posted reviews a year ago to respond but shame on me for writing mine a week after visiting. ♀️
We ordered hamburgers and they were beyond the best burgers We had ever eaten. How do you make such wonderful burgers. Is there a recipe or some secret. Can you tell me so we can have them at home. Wanna Cup is too far from where we live. Please tell me how to make such supreme burgers, I am very serious.
I don’t remember the atmosphere or service or anything else as I was too immersed in the burger to pay attention to anything else. Anyway, I give you 5 stars for everything as nothing hindered me from enjoying the best burger in the universe and beyond
