Hands down the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The service is amazing, portion sizes are out of this world and the food is absolutely scrumptious. You will have plenty of leftovers but still want to come back again and again! I had the family combo with amazing hot and sour soup (so homemade!) and orange chicken (delicious); but the kung pao chicken is beyond compare. Do yourself a favor hand try it!

For $16.75, this is definitely the place to come for a value! I had one of their Combo dishes that had both the vegetable lo-mein and BBQ fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried prawns (shrimp), and soup [I had the egg drop] and hot tea. Everything was super quick and hot. I liked how they put the S/s sauce down as a base on a separate plate and set the chicken on top of that so it wasn’t soggy. Even the fried prawns were pretty large, so it wasn’t just all batter caked up to make it look larger…that was mostly shrimp! I was able to get thru the soup, shrimp, some FR/lo-mein, and a third of S/S chicken before I had to throw in the towel It was just as good the next day too, as most Chinese food is

The food was good, especially the pork fried rice. The chow Mein noodles were delicious. They didn’t have the heavy sauce that often accompanies them at other restaurants.

The BBQ Pork was cooked perfectly, and the egg flower soup had more flavor than many I have tried before. It had a hint of pepper. There was enough food for two meals which was nice. I plan on coming back.

It’s the first time we were able to actually eat inside which was great since food always tastes best when it’s out of the kitchen.

Owner and staff are always nice and helpful with suggestions and your needs . Great atmosphere and delicious food always. They do great portions for the price . As you see in the photos haha. Thanks again for the great customer service and clean restaurant.

Good old school Chinese. Housed in a strip mall, the Wan along is one of those unassuming neighborhoods gems. Food could have been more seasoned in my opinion but my grandkids thought it was great!
We ordered a variety of appitizers: Vegetable Spring Rolls which were a hit, Potstickers (deep fried always a huge disappointment), Crab Rangoon (just cream cheese) which were light, crisp and tasty, and BBQ Pork.
For entrees the winner was definitely the Mu Shu Pork, vegetables seemed fresh and pork was generous (pancakes were dried out and not great). We also ordered Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice and General Tso chicken which was very bland.
I tend to prefer a bit more seasoning than the grandkids so I think the waitress let the chef know that the kids needed a light hand. All and all it was a good meal with plenty of leftovers that I could more aggressively season.

I’m a doordasher, this place literally got me a contract violation because they decided they wanted to allow orders to continue to come through while ALL OF THEIR STAFF WENT ON LUNCH!!! They were all just sitting there eating, no one serving customers, no one cooking food, nothing!!! They tell me it’s gonna be 15 minutes. I use the bathroom and come back out a few minutes later and they are still all just sitting there eating, no one cares they are costing me money by not starting the order. If you need to take lunch, fine, but turn off incoming orders!!!

So glad we gave them a second chance. Their food is delicious, location is one of the cleanest amongst other small family-owned Chinese restaurants, and such friendly customer service!

Once you walk-in, you have a clear and open view of the chefs cooking in the kitchen – and the food is served hot off the grill or wok! Doesn’t taste like pre-frozen food at all, their sauces were flavorful, at least from the standpoint of what we ordered.

Our order:
1. BBQ fried rice – small bowl
2. Egg flower soup – large (very clean tasting)
3. General tso chicken – À la carte (crispy with their special sauce)
4. Sweet and sour shrimp – À la carte (large crispy shrimps, and breading ratio was great)

Meal cost = $48 before tip
Mind you…. The portions of their entrees are HUGE

I’ve been eating here for lunch a few times a year for over 20 years now. It’s my favorite American-Chinese restaurant because their food is consistently good, and their lunch specials come with soup and pork or a spring roll. I usually come with a group and we order family style 2 entrees for every 3 people and still leave with leftovers. My go-to dishes are General Tso’s chicken (which I don’t think is on the menu any more, but they will make it), twice cooked pork, sauteed string beans, and eggplant in garlic sauce.

The service is quick and the employees are nice. My review is based just on eat in lunch service.

I am pretty hesitant of trying new places but tonight I tried the general tsao chicken and I do love it. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it isn’t the very best I have tried but I do enjoy the food. The chicken has this slight sweet taste to it and it’s fried which gives it great flavoring. The chickens taste gives the restaurant its brand to its dish and that is not easy to pull off. The chickens end flavoring comes off kind of bland but again it’s not bad. The rice is good too. This was a hard decision between rating it from a 4 star or a 5 star review. I will very well come back here and order again. 4 star review.
