Stopped by on the way home from church. The cones are hand-dipped. They have a broad range of flavors. Ordered a small cone with mint-chocolate chip ice cream…their “small” reminded me of the small cones from my youth. The ice cream was very good.

The most sweet and artificial tasting slushy I’ve ever had. Idk if they accidentally added too much syrup, or if this is normal.
*Edit after more visits; their vanilla milkshake was nice. Hot dogs are cold. Mozzarella sticks were nice. Fries were fantastic!

Love their ice cream. Really like the retro look of this place, reminds me of the 1960s. The owner always greets us and takes the time to visit with us. His staff are always polite and competent. Also, we like the outdoor pavillion there.

Great food and service, very clean atmosphere!….we are from Monticello and never stopped in over the last several years of traveling to Kokomo….that was our loss! So you will see us there 6-8 times a year now… my husband said “Now that is what a chili cheese dog should taste like!” Thanks for being there

Service is slow, but that is because they don’t make itntill you order it. Service is great and so is the food. Had corn dog bites and a hot dog and my friend had the tenderloin sandwich and fries.

The Walton Freeze is a great place to relax with family, friends, or whoever you wish. They have very good food and ice cream. The employees were smiley, friendly, eager to help you with whatever you needed.if you haven’t ever been here, I would definitely give it a try!!!

The group infront of us had got the wrong item and the employee told her no she ordered a cone not a cup.
Then we ordered and I’ve been here several times usually the day. It seems that they are now making cones alot smaller. I get its scooped however it’s so thin that the large my son got was smaller than a McDonald’s cone.
I think this will be my last visit.
