We checked out the patio for my birthday earlier in November. It started off on a low note with us having to send back our fried mushrooms! There was a lot of breading and they were the biggest mushrooms i have ever seen. They were huge but cold in the middle. They were happy to correct it and let us change our order to the fried coconut shrimp. It was right before close and the fries were crinkle cut and crispy! The shrimp was good (little too much breading) but crispy and full of flavor. The dipping sauce went perfect with the shrimp.

In the future I would be hesitant ordering breaded foods but HIGHLY RECOMMEND the CHEESECAKE! I had the Baileys Cheesecake…yes Baileys. The are installing a brink oven so I will be back to truly our the pizzas soon!

Let’s start with this being a Tavern that does not have a cocktail menu. So that leaves its patrons for asking for cocktails for the bartender to turn around and say that they don’t have the ingredients so you then ask for an old fashioned. And they make you the worst old fashioned you have ever had.

They then serve you a plate of 3 “fried” Brie cheeses for $20 that were ice cold in the middle.

And the queso…stay away from this. It was hard processed stadium YELLOW cheese. And when we asked the waitress what type of cheese it was she had to go to the back and ask. She came back advising it was “white queso”. Take a look at the photo attached.

All their items are way over priced and the food quality is low. And the bar needs help.

Adding in that the whiskey sour we requested with Amaretto came in a tall glass (?) with some type of soda….

Absolutely delicious. Amazing patio. Fantastic vibes. Lavonne was great. Definitely will be back to try other dishes.

Misti is great. My puppy loves the patio.

The inside is phenomenal. We sat fireside and had a delicious meal. Service was fantastic. Best caesar salad. Great burger. Tasty chicken Alfredo. And that pumpkin Cheesecake is to die for.

Came in with my husband for a quick lunch and it was absolutely delicious! We celebrate Lent and had multiple options for fish. My husband got the stuffed catfish and that thing was massive, so good and so filling. And I got the redfish and it was delicious; the potatoes were so creamy! Andy was our waitress and we LOVE her so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back

Wow. This place has really good food. I expected bar and sports food but it’s a really diverse menu with high-end food! Ordered the coconut calamari and expected little fried circles. Nope. It’s a steak of calamari sliced and fried and is super tender with no chewy-ness at all! Delicious and great service! Nice ambiance too

I stopped in because of the great reviews and was excited to try it out. The menu lists the soup of the day as $6 for a cup and $10 for a bowl. When I asked what the soup was, the bartender said it was lobster bisque—which I love—so I ordered a bowl. I wasn’t told anything about a different price, so I assumed it followed the menu pricing. The bill came with a $14 charge for the bisque, which felt misleading without any heads-up that it was a premium/upcharged item.

The soup itself was delicious in flavor, but it arrived lukewarm and cooled off almost immediately, as if it had been microwaved rather than freshly prepared or kept hot properly.

I also ordered drinks: the first double Bacardi with a splash of Coke was poured perfectly and measured well. The second one, however, was noticeably lighter—the bartender just free-poured by eye and admitted she “under-poured” this one because she felt she over-poured the first. That explanation didn’t sit well with me, as consistency matters, especially on paid drinks.

Overall, the food had potential (the bisque tasted great when warm), but the pricing transparency, drink inconsistency, and temperature issues made for a disappointing experience despite the positive reviews that drew me in. I’d think twice before returning without clearer menu info.

He (Walter?) just rebuilt after a fire and the whole place is new. Well, not the old bar but everything else is new.
Service is great! Our server was super sweet she provided the perfect amount of attention.
The food is from scratch and he has a brick pizza oven on the new patio.
Give it a shot, my wife and I are going to come back.

This place we picked at random because it was one of the few that were pet friendly. I must say, the staff and local crowd made the experience all the better. Next time we return to the area, we will definitely be back, especially for the food and good company. Would highly recommend. 10 out of 10 to a coworker or a friend.

Food was amazing. Blackened fish with shrimp and crawfish sauce on top was worthy of a high-end seafood restaurant, but in a relaxed atmosphere and for a reasonable price. We caught them on a bad day as far as service goes. Servers were good, but only gave three stars for service because we seemed to get lost in the shuffle of customers coming in and out of the patio area, so it took awhile to get waited on.

I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times, and I can confidently say that the food has consistently been pretty good. From the jumbo coconut shrimp to the blackened filet mignon beef stroganoff, every dish is genuinely flavorful and well-prepared. Each meal has been satisfying, and the variety on the menu means there’s always something new to try without disappointment.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Whether it’s a casual meal or a special occasion, this place has become one of my go-to spots.

I highly recommend checking it out!
