I used this deli to cater an event for work on 7/23/21, I ordered 2 6 foot subs and scheduled to pick up an hour before my event. ( I have used the other walmart for this exact same thing and I know what to expect as far as food and service goes) I get there to pick up the sandwiches and the first thing I notice is that they aren’t cut. I ask the lady why they aren’t cut like before and she says “well they made us stop cutting them since Covid” . That simply can’t be true because I placed an order last June which is after covid came on the scene and they were cut. At the very least they should inform people that the sandwiches will not be cut. The second issue that I had was she handed me the trays of sandwiches and said have a good day…..I said no I need lettuce, tomato and onion for these sandwiches. She replied that there wasn’t any cut for me back there and I told her that I needed it and she said ” well I don’t know that to tell you cause it’s not here and she couldn’t help it because she was actually night shift and this isn’t her fault”. I told her there was a produce section and I needed her to get me the veggies that were promised with these sandwiches. Eventually after 45 minutes because the lady literally cut the veggies like a sloth I did get what I came for and had to check out lug it to my car and break the speed limit to get to work 5 minutes before the event started. It started late because I had to cut all the sandwiches. I will never use the deli again, they were so unorganized and everyone just wanted to play the blame game instead of owning up to the mistake and saying yeah we dropped the ball.

Very clean and good, bought a chicken salad form the deli. On several occasions bought the fried chicken and bit into raw pieces and was left feeling sick. This time I went for the chicken salad, I was laying in bed after feeling very nauseous and almost puking.

WalMart Deli is exceptional. Although it can be quite busy, the workers here have always helped me with my selections and purchases. I always leave here with a smile on my face.
