I know times are tough and it’s hard to find workers but the girls running this deli are slow and beyond rude. Every single time I go I wait 30 minutes for a small thing of wings. The last time I went I however waited and two employees decided to help an elder lady with a huge order. When the other trainee employee got done helping she went to take customers who walked up on the other side…still no help to me. Well, another customer came up on the other side and told the trainee that I had been waiting a long time and she proceeded to make eye contact with me and say “oh, well what can I do for you” to the other lady…
At this point I was mad and about to walk off and the elder lady finished up so the girl said “well there’s only one of us in the deli” but there wasn’t. There were 3 people back there including the trainee and none of them could help me but could help everyone else who came up. I provided to tell her I wanted the bbq wings and she said “which wings”
I got the wings and ended up giving them back to the girl at self checkout because I was fed up with the rudeness and my experience. I’ve worked retail all my life and even when I was in training I never treated customers the way I was treated. I received a job offer for the deli department 3 months prior and didn’t take it because I would hate to work with girls like them. Everyone in town knows this deli is bad. This isn’t people just having a bad day. This is people who hate their jobs.
