First time there after hearing mixed reviews. We enjoy “dive bars” and weren’t disappointed. First, “give ’em hell” Michelle did an outstanding job as the only employee….drinks server and waitress. Beers cold and inexpensive. Food voluminous and TASTY. Ambience of the place as expected….could be better but obvious a lot of recent effort and work expended. Bottom line for me…..why did we wait so long to try it ????

Had lunch here recently and the wings were amazing. My wife had a patty melt and she loved it. Very cold beer and friendly people. The cook even came out to see just how hot we wanted our wings. Best wings in town for sure by a long shot. We will be back.

Wally’s is the kind of pub I enjoy way more than the chain bars (Outback, Applebee’s, etc). They lend great service to the “locals” concept in a pub. They’ve ramped up the food menu and offer very tasty and creative items. Service has NEVER been an issue.

I love a good dive bar, and Wally’s fits the bill. I can’t vouch for their food, but the bartender is friendly and pours a good drink. The crowd is also interesting and talkative. We stopped in on a Monday night and they had free pizza – can’t argue with that.

Can’t comment on the food since I didn’t get any food but the times I have been there, they are quick to get you a drink. It’s a dive bar so not much to see but if you want to have a drink with a friend and keep costs low than

New owners, so after finding out that it was no longer a smoking bar we decided to try it. The bar smells like a ash tray, not very appealing when you want to try the food. Plenty of empty seats at the bar ,BUT they have drinks sitting them because apparently you go out to the picnic table area to smoke and when you done smoking you go back to your barstool . We try to support locally owned businesses and stay out of chain bars/restaurants.This place was not what we expected.

My husband and I stopped in between 9:02 a 9:10 pm tonight 4/1 for a beer to try out the New non-smoking Wally’s. I recently fractured my left shoulder and my pelvis (4 months ago) and was just released from physical therapy. I clearly have difficulty getting in and out of the car and don’t walk like I used to. Nor do I open doors and walk through them like I used to. The bartender refused to serve us a drink saying she was uncomfortable serving us. I have full respect for this but felt I was being profiled and/or judged. It is unfortunate that we could not enjoy smoke free Wally’s. Yes, it is challenging recovering from a fractured pelvis and shoulder.

Just had lunch here and drinks were good food was bad. Had the Mama burger and I was asked how I wanted it and I said medium rare well it was cooked well done, we also had the French Dip had a lot of grizzle.Fries were store bought frozen not like the hand cut fries they used to sell. The good thing was no smoking inside, good drinks. Skip the food go for drinks. Hire cooks that can cook a burger. Prices went up about 2.00 -2.50 on every item. Responding to the owner’s response…..when I had the burger in my possession I took 2-3 bites I showed the bar tender the burger was well done she and she checked her computer to see if I ordered it wrong and she confirmed I did not and said we are training but then proceeded to to do her business, I was hungry and ate the burger cause I was not going to throw 13.00 dollars down the drain. I wil revisit to see if the food has improved. Not asking for free food just want to get what I payed for! the bartender didn’t even discount the well done burger.
