My husband and I live in Sarasota and made the drive to Venice after hearing so many great things about Wally’s- and it did not disappoint. As a wing connoisseur I tried the dry-rub wings and they were outstanding- hands down the best in the area. The pierogies were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese bites were equally delicious.
The drinks and service were excellent, Amanda and Mike are truly wonderful- so friendly and welcoming, they immediately make you feel at home. The prices were also very reasonable, we couldn’t believe the value for the quality. We will absolutely be back!

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with zero pretense, **Wally’s** is it. It’s the kind of place that feels familiar the moment you walk in—like you’ve been coming here for years. The people are genuinely friendly, there’s nothing “stuffy” about it, and you can always count on seeing a welcoming face, grabbing a cold beer, and enjoying a fantastic burger (and plenty of other great bar food).
Now, if you expect white-glove service or don’t want to leave your seat to order, this probably isn’t your scene. But if you appreciate a relaxed atmosphere, good conversation, and a place where real people gather to unwind, you’ll feel right at home.

We had been wanting to try the food here for quite some time… we finally did and we were not let down! We came with my two year old and even he loved the food. French onion soup and perogies were amazing!! I’m still dreaming of those fresh perogies!! The burger was great too. It wasn’t a typical place we would go with our little one but we were immediately welcomed and will plan to come back again and again!!

This is the only bar that I go to. I absolutely love the vibe, the bartenders & especially the food & drinks. I looooove their food. I eat every time I go. They make amazing drinks too. The bartenders are cool & always busting their butt. I see them work one & 2 at a time, getting tore 100 different ways, across the bar & they still kick a$$, slinging out food & drinks. It’s crazy how good they keep up. Plus, they have this cool system, with QR codes on each table, so you can actually scan it & get your order started yourself, if they are insanely busy. Now that’s nice. Plus, they have lots of cool event nights here, with promo models giving out free drinks & free merch. They even did a frozen turkey bowl with real frozen turkeys, recently, and it was so much fun. It’s usually always packed, with the parking lots flowing over. Good indication that Wally’s is the spot!

First time there. Pretty much looks like your standard issue dive bar. Bartenders were amazing… Probably the best pierogies I’ve had in some time. Also got a Reuben with tater tots and that too was very good, bread extremely fresh. Don’t always judge a book by its cover. Look forward to returning again.

My wife said find me a dive bar. I was lucky enough to find Wally’s ( sorry Wally’s ) Staff were great, people there were fun and my name is Michael so I ordered the Mike burger. Best burger I have ever had . Truly a great find .
