I got five fantastic desserts for $28, which I think was a pretty good deal. They were extremely good, although the eclair was still frozen. I thought they made everything from scratch, but now I’m not sure. I’m normally vegan, but I needed to sample their food for an event. Normally I wouldn’t be able to eat here.
The selection was pretty limited. Parking is terrible.

I can only say great things about this Bakery! It’s a Gem for the North Kansas City!! Every single thing we have ever tried is truly delicious!! In addition on having wonderful dessert, The lady that was working today is so kind and makes You want to go back to have a conversation with her!! The new hours are also working for me!! My 11 year old daughter who is a picky eater loves everything in here! Even the Gelato ♥️

It’s quite a long distance for us to drive and they weren’t quite open yet at 11 when we pulled up but the petit fours were so worth it. This bakery has no seating but is homey and from another era in a good way. Great quality petit fours, not dry inside at all. My favorite was the mocha! Woman working was very helpful. Will make the trip again for a special occasion. Locals should feel lucky.

I stopped in here to get my son a sweet treat for his birthday. He’s all grown up and I kind of slacked off on ordering him a cake. I purchased the chocolate black out cake for him, a pumpkin cake for his wife and a variety of flavors of petit-fours. They absolutely loved it!! He asked me where I got it from after he gobbled it all up. Lol The cakes and petit-fours are delicious, a lot of flavor and very moist. It’s definitely worth going back. I highly recommend

Can’t WAIT to try Wally’s! Saw these lovely ppl on the local news. Business is over one hundred years old—started by family in Germany. We don’t travel to the northland often, but will make the trip here! We’re always looking for great pastries you don’t often see other places. Ordered a 2good2go dessert bag and wasn’t disappointed. I ate 2 cookies before I could take a picture but they had a nice amount and variety. Tammy was so nice and another customer in the store had some great recommendations. I look forward to going back and trying more options.

This is an update to my last review ten months ago. They have now opened a retail bakery for walk-in business. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. 10am to 5pm.
Oh, man. Cakes, pies, cheese cakes, European pastries, custom wedding cakes, cup cakes, birthday cakes, I could go on and on. Everything is made from scratch. This awesome bakery is worth the drive to experience. Tell them Sam sent yah. They have been in business a very, very long time. Easy access off of a main street. Plenty of parking.

This is such a quaint cake shop. I thought it was pretty cute. I liked how they display their newspaper clipping and have their family black and white photos with small collection of small cake bites and some slices. I do recommend this place! Though they are only open a few days through the week. I tried their bakery goods and it was great!

The staff is wonderful. Got to hear about the history of the store and learn more about their amazing baked goods. The owner is so nice and has a wonderful vision for the future of Wally’s.

One bite will change your life, mark your calendar for Friday it’s worth it! The carrot cake dessert ball/truffle is to die for, and the best dark chocolate cake ever not dry or bitter. I will be back can’t wait for your new space to open soon next door with expanded hours!
