Wally’s is a gem, one I’m sure locals would like to keep for themselves. Not only were the bagels top tier but the prices really won’t be beat anywhere. One of the best salt bagels I’ve had.

Small bagel shop, grab and go. Bagels fresh, like be out the door but goes quick. $5 for bagel w cream cheese. No need to say extra cream cheese, they know. Got a pumpkin bagel, tasted the pumpkin, it delivered. Always a fan of this place. Rainbow bagel with confetti cream cheese was a bit sweet but still good.

I hate to write a review like this, because my family loves, and often raves about, Wally’s Bagels.
This morning, I placed a very simple online order for pickup: an egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lightly toasted. This cost $5.44 with tax, which is absolutely insane, but I was willing to pay it because Wally’s has always been great.
Once I arrived at the store, I received a message that my order was ready, so I went in to pick it up and drove home.
As soon as I got home and went to open my bagel, I noticed something odd- there was nothing on it (or so it seemed). Just a sliced bagel, but no cream cheese.
I fully opened the bagel only to realize that it is absolutely drenched in melted butter, with a few globs still on it. To top it off, the wrapping paper was folded inside of the bagel, also drenched in butter.
I called the store, and I will say that the lady who answered the phone (I believe it was Jen, possibly a manager?) was apologetic and offered to remake the order, but at that point I had already spent 45 minutes of my morning between ordering and driving to pick up an overpriced bagel, and I had somewhere to be.
So, I’m stuck here with an inedible, butter soaked, cold bagel and a pending credit card refund for $5.44.
I’ve been going to Wally’s for years now, and this was the first time I’ve used their online ordering option. I would caution you to NOT order online, unless you unwrap each food item and check to make sure it’s correct before leaving the premises.
Wally’s has great bagels, and I know mistakes happen, but it was quite the frustrating experience that will make me think twice before ordering from them again.

In a town where there’s a bagel shop on seemingly every corner, this place stands out amongst the rest. Top 3 egg sandwiches on Long Island in my opinion. Just like everywhere else, prices have gone up, so there’s nothing cheap about this place, but more often than not I finish my sandwich with a smile. It’s certainly not like that everywhere. I highly recommend.

The bagel here was not good at all to me and I’ve been to a lot of bagel shops on LI. I asked for egg and cheese on a bagel and they did fried eggs and I never asked for them fried. It’s usually scrambled eggs. I really don’t recommend if you’re looking for a real NY tasty bagel.

I have tried this bagel store many times because friends seem to like it but I cannot for the life of me understand why. Every time I go, the bagel is overdone. You cannot look at this picture and tell me that is acceptable to sell to a costumer yet Wally’s did anyway. Maybe they were good at some point but they make horrible bagels now. I went to North Babylon Bagels after I looked in the bag and saw what bagel I was given. There is no way I was eating a burnt bagel. Who is working back there that thinks this is acceptable?

I believe they need expansion or a second store. VERY CROWED DUE TO POPULARITY. I’ve NEVER seen another store with lines out the Rooftop. I remember when I was teaching my children how to wash and hang at the Laundromat next door. I didn’t know what a bagel was at the time. We never ate them growing up. Anyway I couldnt understand what this Wally’s was selling, that the line was out the door and cust. would double park in the back of the cars parked doing laundry. I felt so frustrated bc cars would block you in and the ppl on the line seemed for hrs.,look like zombies. Well,Year’s went by and I finally tasted a somewhere.I decided, visited Wally’s order +c.cheese. I noticed the men workers and or owner’s hair were white and they looked like twins. The female workers look like the were all family.I was amazed at what I in the store and how efficiently they worked together like smooth robotic. In sandwich shops and deli’s, you see.Wow I could order , have hot or cold drinks the way I like.I never had to return food. It’s always fresh. Thanks Wally’s, I am a, “FOREVER CUSTOMER

Unfortunately, I heard good things but I guess you cannot trust everything you hear. I had a bad first experience here & probably would not return. I ordered an egg everything & they gave me a plain everything bagel with Cream Cheese. It was extremely dry & was not freshly baked. Very disappointed with my breakfast, as I can get better bagels at Stop & Shop. If you’re looking for fresh bagels, I’d recommend looking somewhere else.
