I have been coming to Walls Bake Shop for over 40 years. This family owned business has been passed down from one generation to the next. I remember a proud dad with his 2 sons always working side by side. He taught them well and today the business is run with the same warmth and service as when he was there. The staff are like extended family always great service with the smiles as in yesteryears bakery.
The dilemma I have every time I go to Walls is what to get⁉️ Everything is so good. However, nobody makes raisin pumpernickel bread like theirs!! Their chocolate mousse chocolate covered cookies are outstanding, as well as their Strawberry Shortcake, which is my birthday favorite! The Babkas are moist and filled with chocolate, but they also have a chocolate covered babka along with other kinds of luscious cakes. Philly Fluffs have been a favorite forever. Their cookies are the best on the planet. They just melt in your mouth and there is such a tremendous assortment from profiteroles, Linzer tarts, chocolate lace, to the huge black & whites that everyone loves. The cheese danish and apple strudel are delectable and I can go
on and on. I have never had bad thing yet!
With Rosh Hashanah coming up, I strongly recommend their Teglach! Filled with honey, nuts and dried maraschino cherries. My suggestion is to place an order for the holidays. I don’t live in the area anymore, but is well worth the trip. However, they are closed on Mondays and do take a well deserved summer vacation in August!

My wife grew up in this area but moved to Florida, and she’s been craving a black & white cookie from Wall’s for years. Today, we finally got a chance to visit for my first time. They had lots of delicious-looking items, and I decided on the chocolate-dipped chocolate chip cookies. My wife obviously got the black & white. The chocolate on mine was of very good quality and the baked good was delicious. My wife said hers was amazing as always, and she’s never had another that does it exactly right. We absolutely recommend Wall’s for a tasty baked treat. My wife wishes there was one by us in Florida.

Attention diabetics and pre-diabetics! Walls offers a low carb cheesecake in both chocolate drizzle and fruit jam topped varieties. It’s not just sugar free. It’s carb free! You won’t miss the crust. It’s THAT good. The Apple Charlotte (pictured below) is a winner! Also their brownies are not “to diet for” but they ARE “to die for.” Everything there is delicious. If you like black & white cookies, you will love their black & white cookie cake, called the Daisy cake. Why is named that? Who cares. But if you are planning to bring it somewhere, get a second one to bring home. Trust me. But don’t crust me!! I’m diabetic!!

Went to see the in laws in Atlantic Beach. On the way is Wall’s. It’s a Jewish bakery that has been a pillar of the community for years. They have been coming here for 40 years and my fiancé thought it would be great to bring to their new house. It reminded me of an old school bakery. Lots of charm and nostalgia so I was a fan.
A large variety of cakes and cookies. I wanted to try the marzipan pig, but with all the desserts I thought it might be too much. The chocolate on the cookies and babka were delicious. The center of the babka was bursting with chocolate flavor. The in laws were grateful and excited. My mother in law said she was so happy she wanted to cry. It has been awhile since they have been there. Stop in and continue the tradition or start a new one.

I was placed on a strict no dairy diet as breastfeeding mom. I missed bakery goods. My husband found this place and boy am I so thrilled for the dairy free cookies he found with them which were delicious!! He even got a vegan birthday cake for me! So definitely coming back for some of those cookies yumm! Did I mention the vegan chocolate cake non us could tell the difference.
