I had a taste for BBQ and knew this place was on the route after passing it for years. I tried the Waller Dig and wasn’t disappointed at all! I added jalapeños to mine for a little kick. My girlfriend tried the ribs, potato salad, and baked beans. I tried everything on her plate and it was all bland. The ribs tasted like smoke with no seasoning, the potato salad had good texture and consistent cuts, but had zero flavor and the baked beans tasted the same. I appreciated the fact that the ribs were not already sauced. We also got two slices of cake. One strawberry and one German chocolate. I’d stop again for the cakes!

Great BBQ place! Smoked brisket was perfect! It was smoked perfect and was juicy. Chicken was ok. Backed beans were a great choice. Coleslaw was ok. Some places have better taste. Overall, it was a great experience. Two meat plates were more than enough for me. Also, sausage was good!

3 meat plate with 2 sides. The brisket was bland cut into pieces. I thought i would be getting slices. the ribs had a good taste just a little tough. turkey was good but it was dry. The potatoe salad and coleslaw was bland needed some flavor. The stuffed potato was huge but I don’t know if it was the potatoe or the pulled pork but something tasted off like old tap water. We ended up throwing it away.

We ordered a 3 meat plate, ribs brisket and jalapeño sausage. Plus potato salad and coleslaw. A rib sandwich and a brisket potato. Everything was amazing!!

Worst “chopped” beef sandwich EVER. It was like the meat was put through a grinder.(meat mush) the sausage was fairly good, but it was for my granddaughter and it was spicy hot! Maybe they should let customers know that. This place use be to great. I don’t know if it the same folks that had it 6-7 yrs ago or not. The sweet potato pie tasted like it had been there for weeks. Will not be returning.

We visited with some of our baseball team and we very much wish we made a different choice. We got brisket, ribs, sausage and pulled pork. The pulled pork was pre-sauced and the only thing that had seasoning or flavor, probably the sauce it was in. Brisket (the point, not flat) was super dry and little or no salt. No pepper or additional flavor seemed to be added, but it was tender. The ribs were tender and cooked correctly but very bland like the brisket. No salt and very little flavor. The sausage had a decent smoke flavor (better than everything else actually) but it was also very low in salt also. All the meat needs sauce to be decent, so this goes against all my good BBQ rules (good Q doesn’t need sauce). To make a pot decision worse the meat was highly expense compared to other decent options nearby. Finally the person “serving” is was very impatient, not nice and could not communicate well. She made me feel unwelcome for asking questions. I really wanted this to be good and was really disappointed.

The smoked brisket was excellent. Chopped beef was above average. The beans were very good. The boudin balls were average because the outside was tough, in other words it was not fresh fried. We will certainly visit again. Side note, I saw the loaded baked potatoes & they are massive. Ribs were above average. Potatoes salad was good, Cole slaw was good as well.
