One of the best diners in the area. Had the Country Boy sandwich. Fried chicken, collard greens, bacon and cheese on Texas toast. Def gonna get that again

Had a nice veggie omelette with hash browns, whole wheat toast plus blackberry jam. Mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. (I can’t handle green peppers)

I was so disappointed. This has got to be one of the most environmentally abusive restaurants I’ve ever seen. Everything was petroleum. Petroleum plastic forks and knives that we are supposed to somehow get meat off a bone. One of the employees actually told me that they were forced to be environmentally abusive. I hate liars. I especially hate liars who don’t care about anyone other than themselves. What a ridiculous lie! I will never go back.

Had lunch yesterday with my family.
I had heard great things about the chicken and waffles, and the diner did not disappoint.
The serving staff were very friendly and attentive.
Thank y’all for a Great meal !!

The staff was friendly but the food was another story. We had breakfast and the hashbrowns were old and rubbery. the bacon and sausage was old and hard like they were leftover from yesterday. scrambled eggs were not mixed well and over cooked. grits were like they had added water to make them runny.

UPDATE! Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Pork belly tacos were amazing! Home made tortilla chips and salsa, wings, mashed potatoes, and waffle were also delicious. Country dining the way it should be…
UPDATE!!!
I don’t know what has happened, but in 6 months, this place has slowly gone from some of the best food I have ever had, to the worst. For the last couple of months I have been giving them 1 more chance after 1 more chance, only to be let down every time.
Not only have portion sizes gotten smaller, the food has gotten uneatable. I literally just bought a steak and cheese that went straight into the garbage. And that is saying something because I eat any and everything.
The meat was old or rancid. They had to have smelled it while cooking it. Terrible!!! My daughters burger smelled awful too. I have had a much better burger in a 3rd world country…. Honest to God.
The homemade chips are always undercooked and soggy. The fries are soggy and greasy. The meats normally have hard gristle in them. And most of the taste has disappeared in all of the food. No love is put into the cooking and it shows.
I hate this as I like to support small business and keep my money in the community. But I will no longer be eating here.

Wallburg Diner wins hometown diner award. Best food. Great prices. Excellent service. I loved their Baja shrimp tacos. Their menu has all the diner food staples. Then they have a modern creative menu on their blackboard loaded with zesty options.
