Stopped by Wallace Lake Grille, but unfortunately it was closed at the time of our visit. That said, the nearby metro park bathrooms were still open and were conveniently located and pleasantly clean. While the restaurant itself wasn’t accessible, the surrounding park and wooded areas are quite scenic and peaceful. Took a few photos of the area and enjoyed a quiet walk around the lake. Definitely a nice spot, and I’d be interested in checking out the grille when it’s open.

Wallace Lake Grill is newly remodeled. Adjacent to the food area is a covered area with picnic tables. The food and ice cream are served.
From the beach to the sand volleyball courts and kayak rentals, there’s plenty to see and do. Also a newly built bathroom.

First time trying Wallace Lake Grille on my lunch hour. I didn’t have to wait to order, there were plenty of parking spaces/seating options & my sandwich & chips were delicious. Plenty of options on the menu. Can’t wait to come back & enjoy another peaceful lunch hour at the lake!

The newly opened upgraded area at Wallace is worth a visit! The Grille is a brand new kitchen with attached covered area with picnic tables. The food is delicious and served by a friendly staff.
There is a small beach, sand volleyball court, pop-up merchant shop and kayak rentals. Bathroom building is brand new and fully accessible.

Great family time. But No lifeguard and no boat rentals. Also changing rooms closed but bathrooms open. Wearing a watershoe encouraged due to wet floors. Toilets flush. Beach was clean. Have a volleyball net so bring a ball. Swings up, fishing, grills (charcoal) and can even rent a tent. Visited memorial day weekend 2022. The Cafe was open at 1pm. They have limited menu. I only had a cup of Honey Hut ice cream (no cones).

Food was fantastic but I sat down to dress my burger and this kid kept running around me and making a lot of noise. I just dressed my burger and went to my car. Why are parents not doing anything to make sure others around you are not bothered?

CLOSED IN WINTER
An average park snack bar, nothing special, but ok to grab a snack if you’re swimming in the lake or playing frisbee in the park.
No indoor seating, but there are picnic tables in the park.

Never was at the cafe except to get my wifes lost phone back in July. Walked around the park for a bit and that was about it. Its quiet and peaceful this time of the year. Love listening to the waterfalls and nature.
